@KIROCharlie Golly. It almost seems like they hired a bunch of people either not empowered to actually enforce the fares or who aren't doing their job. My guess is the they were told not too. But I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Today's commentary: Metro hired 30 full-time fare enforcement operators. They spent a combined 1200 hours a week on the buses, where we know 35% of riders aren't paying. Between May and the end of 2025, it was ~30,000 combined hours. How many total citations were issued in that time frame? EIGHT.
