From last week: Sega sent a private detective after a collector who snapped up £10,000 of dev kits and prototype games it left in its old office in Chiswick.
That information was then passed to police who raided his flat last summer.
Dev kits for obsolete gaming platforms end up on eBay all the time as their resale is prohibited - but does it warrant a criminal investigation?
