It's been a while since I posted an update on how things were going with my timezone tool Pastetime and how I've been going with learning SEO, working with Cursor etc. TLDR; SEO is a long burn, @vercel free tier can be eaten without the right checks and balances
English

@umami_software @vercel @cursor_ai The other tool that has entered the realm is @OpenAI's Codex. I really like the workflow and reliability of this option, like the latest version of Cursor prompting doesn't necessarily need a whole lot. I've found if you keep your requests focused it will do the heavy lifting
English

I used to have a lot of trouble in @cursor_ai with CLI cmds hanging, context drift, prompting also was somewhat of an art. I rarely used Auto mode, but now have it set as default and mostly start with a prompt in Plan mode, iterate when I'm happy progress to build. Most features now are implemented without much intervention at all.

@yongfook I feel the same call albeit a faint shout, I know eventually it will be a stranger shouting in my face

Hey kids, this is why levels is a beast. Most of what you learn is a very specific way of thinking. If you want to move fast then remove the shackles of modern dev, this is what the og internet was built on.
Claude can commit on the server so if something went catastrophically wrong just roll back to last known good commit. But if you're coding for fun on your own site like this then just go full steam ahead.
English

This seems very hard to grasp for modern day devs
So you SSH into your server
You install Claude Code
You type "claude"
And you let it code for you and do stuff on your VPS
What is a VPS? A server you get on for ex @Hetzner_Online @digitalocean or if you want a GPU on @LambdaAPI
Kim Hudaya@huedaya
@levelsio @threejs Wait, I still don't understand the Claude Code part, so you vibe coding the production? or having separate server than push the changes to github?
English

Another interesting direction being taken here when the majority of the pack are feeding more into the machine to yield better results. Exciting to see where this goes!
