@flxia_ @louisagareiss fair enough! in sweden it is mostly only spoken about buying "aktiebolag" which is basically the same thing as a gmbh, so I assumed that was the only way to go (although a gmbh requires 10x more capital)

@_maxscn @louisagareiss It's not, registering a sole proprietorship costs less than 50€. You might be thinking of registering a GmbH (business with limited liability), where you need initial capital of 25k (+ registration fee)

I can’t launch my own app in my country or region because I don’t have a business license (and getting one in Germany would take god knows how long and I worry about my own privacy) you need to comply with these bullshit EU DSA rules. I’ve been working on my app since July and I’m tired.

Over time we kept running into the same problem with Prisma ORM. The architecture that got us here started slowing us down. Fixes took longer. Adding new capabilities got harder. So we asked: what would Prisma look like if we rebuilt it today?

@_maxscn @tannerlinsley Man, I was just using Temporal at some point. I’m an elixir person and not having something like Oban was frustrating coming back to the JS ecosystem. But yeah not a Tanstack issue definitely. People just asked me about « is there anything yet for background jobs ? »

so in nextjs if i want to cache a title in a dynamic route segment that i always know ahead of time it won't work if i have to check the locale based on the param i am so close to moving to tanstack start for this project

@LLCoolChris_ @tannerlinsley effect/workflows is really nice to work with for durable workflows but it feels janky for non-effect projects

@_maxscn @tannerlinsley Tanner this is a blocker for a LOT of people the last time I spoke about Tanstack. And something that a lot of fs framework miss: no easy solutions for durable workflows!
