@SAS your check in personnel in Las Palmas just abandoned their post, leaving passengers in a very long queue waiting. Flight SK2848. At this pace 80 people will miss the flight. Could you get personnel to man the check in please???

Trilingual kids are fun. The 5 year old randomly started saying “Ja Mann” (German). The 18-months-old now says “Thank you, Mann” and the 5 year old switched to “Ja Nikuman” (German/Japanese, “meat dumpling”, in this case “meat man”). Nein Mann. youtu.be/HBjDZMJUduo?fe…

Product teams are rightly told to focus on outcome over output. But outcomes are lagging indicators that change very slowly. This leads to teams acting too late on issues with product updates. 🧵 on how fast-moving product teams predict the outcome with leading indicators

@tannerlinsley Sorry, was unavailable for a bit. Seems to work fine now. I was on osx latest Chrome stable with a bunch of extensions, but also had the error in incognito with no extensions

@tannerlinsley tanstack.com seems to have a client side rendering problem. Every page I'm visiting gives a quick blink of server rendered content, then immediately turns completely blank (white) with a very empty DOM tree and multiple errors in the console

We’ve introduced feature hierarchies to make managing features in @bucketdotco more intuitive! When combined with multiple event tracking, you can create parent features by simply dragging and dropping: bucket.co/blog/grouping-…

My first attempt dabbling with CSS subgrid (did you know it’s now supported across the board?? 🤯): Using arbitrary elements as list markers, with a checklist example where the markers are checkboxes! (+ :has() for different styling when elements are done) codepen.io/leaverou/pen/L… Thanks @fantasai for helping me fix my original attempt, when I still had an inaccurate mental model of how subgrid works.

@Marabyte_ @tameverts Can we talk about this horrible pop-up that always shows up on every initial navigation? It has been like this for years and it's the sole reason I never link to the Lego website for wish list links. Can't you just show the page I linked to?

My kids and I love LEGO, so I spend a lot of time on the LEGO site during the holidays. So I thought it would be fun to give the site a quick #webperf audit. Here's what I learned, along with some lessons you may want to apply to your own pages. speedcurve.com/blog/web-perfo… #ux

An API returns an object like { r, g, b, a } to represent a colour. `r`, `g`, and `b` are numbers, 0-255. `a` is also a number, but what should its range be?

In my career, I've only ever worked in one places where qualitative data consistently found its way back to the product and engineering org and was mapped to features. How can you iterate on newly launched features without feedback? This is why I'm really excited for this launch

Today we are introducing Live Satisfaction in Bucket – a no-code approach to collect qualitative user feedback on the feature level. Here’s why this is a big deal. A thread 🧵👇
