FABLE IS THE SAME MODEL AS MYTHOS.
I get this question a ton and I've even seen other "big ai influencer" types spreading misinformation about this.
Think of Fable 5 and Mythos 5 as two separate entrances to the same place (confusingly, also named Mythos 5).
When using Fable, Anthropic has more safeguards in place. These guards are NOT part of the model. They are layers in front that check your request to make sure it's safe. They also monitor what the model is doing while it responds to make sure the response is safe as well.
Mythos 5 has way fewer checks. It is a special entrance for trusted parties who have been given access with fewer restrictions.
That's the only difference. They are the same model. Same weights. Same servers. Same everything.
The difference is at the entrance.

Determining the meaning of your life by purpose is actually really dangerous.
Why?
Because most people think of purpose as something which you're working towards (some ultimate goal).
That's a very dangerous way of framing meaning:
- If you never reach it, your life was meaningless
- And if you do, the sense of meaning often vanishes once it’s achieved
There is something more important: Orientation
Purpose can be very egocentric (what I most want to have) whereas orientation is reality-centric:
What do I most need to be in order to be in touch with reality...to be deeply in touch with myself (with other people) and with the world?

I can confidently say Ye is in serious talks to perform at the Super Bowl. It MOST LIKELY won't happen this year, but he's being considered for a future halftime show.
Jay-Z doesn't have full control over the performer selection. All NFL teams also get an equal vote. Many of them actually DO want Ye to perform, and teams can (and do) object to artists. Some have objected to Ye this year, but not because of his past, it's because they're worried sponsors will pull out.
Ye clearly brings in massive attention and money, but he basically needs to prove he won't scare off sponsorships. I was told that playing more Festivals will help with this.
My source told me: "It's not that they don't think he's sorry, it's just not enough time has passed."

Because of the timing honestly I'm kind of wondering if they sent out the initial release of v14 lite before it was remotely ready just so they could say that they shipped it during Q2 for the earnings call. The second last day of the quarter, and then basically nothing for 3 weeks....
Honestly it's kind of bullish if that is the reason why. Means g14 is probably going to be quite a bit better and what was released

we did not have our best last 12 months ever, which is mostly my fault, but we are about to have our best 12 months to date. the team is doing amazing work and i think you’ll be very happy with what they’ve got cooking for you.
i am happy about this for many reasons, but mostly because i care about our users winning. AI has to be about giving lots of people more freedom, agency, and wealth. we want to do the right thing, but we do not want to scare people into doing our thing.

when it comes to design and aesthetics, it’s very tempting for tech companies to go the Apple route or Google route. we've been living in an era that is mostly derivative. instead, forge a new path and go the Kimi route. this actually feels like the future

this is why i didn't bother with html plans
- a good harness will do it better
- html plans are a waste of boilerplate tokens (and therefore time)
