It is absurd and insane how much software engineering changed between November 2025 and now.

It's unfortunate that there isn't more awareness of the authentication approaches around not needing secret tokens at all. That's the right response IMHO, not further investing in a system where bearer tokens are trivial to misplace, steal, and abuse. Treat every use as the vuln.

CISA has published a report about a contractor's recent leak of CISA security keys on GitHub. It's fairly candid about the agency's shortcomings and offers advice for other organizations. cisa.gov/news-events/ne…

WTF is this random conductor keep out zone next tot he USB? It literally broke the PCB conductor ground roome isolation areas that you can still l see even though there is not conductive ground contact. I think this is a "fuck up in the wild" Time to start a new series called "fuck up int he wild" LOLOLOL

It makes me cringe when people talk about AI code as "slop". AI is garbage in garbage out. If your AI code sucks, it means YOU suck as an engineer. You couldn’t even explain what you want to an AI that has been RL’d on millions of similar chats.

@RadxaComputer BTW if anyone can help me source it in the next week, a cool carrier board will be provided in return :)

Anyone have samples or a source for the Milk-V Duo Module S? Supply evaporated b/c @RadxaComputer is switching 8 to 64 GB eMMC. I hate begging on Twitter, but it would be great to find it, even the board I got months ago is impossible to find now. Pic related #escapeyourfate

@vxunderground However many years later and you still accidentally end up with dependencies on the IDE in your .NET builds

Visual Studio 2026 is such a fucking piece of shit The things I want to say to Microsoft about the recent "additions" to Visual Studio would get me investigated the FBI.

I read this retatded slop for you! - “data centers using too much water” just below the fold - some fantasy world where China will definitely stop their AI development (like asking USA to stop Manhattan project btw) - (inter?)nationalizing all industry (starting with AI and semiconductors, easy!!!) which historically has been really good for everyone - polycule dweller ideas about AI “alignment” (AI safety departments are HR departments for clankers, take from that what you will) - with the Clanker Dividend and UBI, “Many of the world’s evils have dramatically reduced. Malnutrition, lack of medicine, and homelessness are nearly banished. Many diseases have been cured. Crime rates are lower than ever before.” which might be the most retarded bit in here - “We think the world is asleep at the wheel. People say the words “AI will be transformative” without thinking concretely and seriously about the implications of broadly superhuman AI.” I am very smart and the computer is going to kill you just like in The Matrix Effective Altruism schizos are basically agents of China at this point. Totally captured by 80s sci-fi books and the feeling of “having the answer” and the kind of vague virtue signaling “no AI art!!!” slop you see on BlueSky. Think of the billions that will be disadvantaged, keep chronic illnesses, die, if we just… stop the economy.

In AI 2027, we predicted that AI would take over the world or irreversibly concentrate power. In AI 2040: Plan A, we've laid out our positive vision for what should happen instead.

@domenkozar @charliermarsh yep, same negative spirals and incentive structures as a lot of social media, they're just a different instantiation of HN, reddit, twitter, etc -- just tech branded

@autovate @RcSboii It's funny how much of the crashing seems data race related, my Framework had the BIOS bug where it only clocked to 600 MHz and it was reliably every few minutes (and made me ask why Linux was so slow), but it barely happens now that it's properly boost clocking after an update
