Got inspired by @marclou and moved to Thailand for a month 🤙 What we’re going to do - - Build / Market @spurnow_com for 30 days - Muay Thai for 30 days - Swimming for 30 days - Perfect sleep for 30 days - Healthy food for 30 days We don’t have Whoop, but we’re using the @AmazefitGlobal Helio Strap and it’s amazing (no subscription lol - also not sponsored xD) Here’s to having a productive month. Lemme know if we should explore anything while we’re in Bangkok.

For the people who say "it's a useless number" 😇 What you don't see: - Perfect sleep 365 days/year - Healthy food 365 days/year - Workout 365 days/year @WHOOP didn't do it for me. But it made me and my wife addicted to becoming the best version of ourselves. (not affiliated, I don't need money)

94th 5-star review 💪 this one is all thanks to @tarangbalani 👑 he literally made a 3 min loom to solve the doubts of this customer tarang is the newest addition to our team and as the review mentions the customer had been getting experience like this since the beginning so this is our DNA, some times it will be me, sometimes my co-founder or anyone from our time, our customers are guaranteed to get this kind of support 🤙 and it’s not just the support, everyday our team works together, cross-functionally to improve the product, implements success strategies and improves all the processes we have in place really lucky to have a team like this and super proud of them

we are back to 5 stars on our Shopify app 😭 we were stuck at 4.9 stars for a while now thanks to a few 1 star reviews but our team relentlessly helped those clients and we have zero 1 star reviews on our app now 💪 i know this might not seem like that big of a deal but it is for us this is the kind of thing that sometimes keeps us up at night lol but having 1 star review also taught us that few bad reviews do not matter you can't make everyone happy sometimes people give low reviews because they don't get what they want and sometimes even to bully you to get what they want if you have 3 type of customers - 1. customers who love your product 2. customers who like your product 3. customers who are never satisfied then the answer is simple focus on customrs who love your product convert customers who like your product into loving your product and just watch your word of mouth go viral and you'll automatically find more customers who will love your product

True, but I feel like reviews on Shopify work different than reviews anywhere else If you see a 4.1 stars and decent no of reviews on Amazon, you'd be like what a great product let's buy this! You might find something with higher stars, but the price difference would be very high. But on Shopify App Store, you'd be like let's avoid this app, you can find better apps in this category at the same price point. If gaming the system is a problem, ofc reading the reviews help. Don't get me wrong, I agree with your point, that's why we show a 1 star review on our website xD But an actual 1 star review on your Shopify App, haunts you as a founder.

@_royaltomar Good! But as a consumer perfect 5 star often feels like a gamed metric. I would trust a product with 4.8 star more than the one with 5 star.

WhatsApp is going to be the #1 revenue channel for D2C brands in India. And Spur is going to be the platform that powers it. Rohan and I walked into Meta HQ in Gurgaon. Invited by Nayani, India Lead for the Meta Tech Provider Ecosystem and joined by Amit, Meta Partner Manager from the Bangalore Meta office. What we didn't expect was the reaction we got👇 We showed them what we've been building. The short Instagram reels breaking down WhatsApp concepts in ways brands actually understand. The deep e-commerce case studies showing real attributed revenue. The speed at which we ship - because when you're bootstrapped, there's no committee, no approval chain, just execution. Meta launched GIF templates on WhatsApp. We added support the next day, and same day we published a video explaining exactly how brands can use it to drive more revenue. We showed them our OpenClaw integration - connecting WhatsApp with MCP so you can run broadcasts straight from your phone, or from any AI that supports it. Their reaction? "Where were you all this time?" That hit different. Because the lesson isn't just about Spur. If you're building inside an ecosystem - make sure the leaders of that ecosystem know what you're doing. Your hard work, your innovations, your results - they shouldn't live in a vacuum. The people at the top of these ecosystems want to find builders like you. They want to champion you. But they can't if they don't know you exist. We left that meeting more energized than ever. Spur is going to make life easier for every e-commerce brand in India - helping them get on WhatsApp API, set up revenue-generating automations, launch their WhatsApp Store, and deploy AI. All within minutes. That's what we're building. That's where we're going. We're starting that by organizing an exclusive D2C WhatsApp Masterclass for top brands and agencies in Hyderabad and Bangalore next month. More details soon. If you want your brand to take maximum advantage of WhatsApp, comment "WhatsApp" and I'll personally make sure you're taken care of 🚀

Where do I start… For a big part of my life, I didn’t fit in. At school, I’d argue with teachers because I didn’t like what I was learning. At university, I got bad grades and drank way too much to build a personality. At my short 9–5 job, I kept wondering what I was doing there. I joined Twitter in November 2021. When I discovered the indie hacking community, I felt a sense of belonging for the first time in my life. It’s hard to describe, but I loved the idea of working on your own thing and sharing everything publicly. It felt like freedom. So I started building startups. 1 in 2021. 10 in 2022. It took almost a year to reach 1,000 followers. I never planned to build an audience. I thought that if I kept building things, some people might discover my work. In my wildest dreams, maybe 10,000 followers? So I kept building. 10 more startups in 2023. As I shipped many small bets, some started to take off. They paid my rent. More people followed. Then ShipFast launched in August 2023. It reached $50k/month, and my audience started growing faster. In June 2024, my account passed 100k followers. It felt unreal. A few days ago, I saw my profile picture in the 𝕏 App Store screenshot. Today, my account crossed 300k. Now, some people recognize me in the street. None of this was planned. None of it was expected. I’m beyond grateful. Thank you for being here. You gave meaning to this whole journey. ❤️

Customer support can be a competitive advantage, in the early stages of your business specially if you're bootstrapped. In earlier days of Spur, it was just Rohan and me handling everything ourselves - engineering, design, support, sales, etc Other founders might relate to this, that it's easier to acquire and retain customers if you offer them founder support haha But it's not scalable. As we reached 100 paid customers, we realized our company won't run without us. That's when we hired 1 person each for engineering, support and sales. We also insured that whoever takes on the support role, offers the same level of support that we offered as founders - both on chats and calls - that was Divyansh for us. Let's call it founder level support which becomes even more important when you're competing with funded teams with 100x more funds and 100x bigger teams than you As our numbers kept growing, we added Khizar to our founding success team, who now singlehandely takes care of all the calls - support or onboarding - and our customers love him because he cares and takes his time to explain things as well as gets the job done - just like we did as founders Karan Bhardwaj joined our founding success team a month back, and the screenshot below is a testiment that yet again, a gem has joined our team who continues to provide the founder level support we strive for Even though we now have a founding success team of 3 people, one thing that we've always lacked is customer success - like updating our help center articles regularly - updating customers about new features as soon as they go live - because we're always short on time - founder level support requires you to give that time to your customers We'll never let the founder level support go away, but to give our customers the success that they deserve, we're adding one more member to our founding success team. Then we'll have Karan and the new person handling support, Khizar handling calls, and Divyansh who is our 3rd oldest employee innovate and build success processes for Spur. This will not just increase the revenue of our customers, but also reduce the time our team takes for support, calls, etc allowing us to scale our customer base, onboard more customers everyday, help them get their first order faster while we continue to provide the founder level support that we're proud of 🫶

I'm hosting a Shopify Claude Code mastermind from 4-5 est on Friday. No cost or anything. Just some app owners, agency owners, and brand owners sharing cool shit they are building. I want to nerd out and brainstorm ways to solve problems. We'll have some brands there who will live give feedback on stuff too. No pitching, just no-code vibes. Who wants in?

Building agents now is like building geocities sites in 1995. It’s an amazing skill and definitely where the world is going. Dozens of jobs will be extinct because of agents by 2030. But the value will happen in 2 years when someone builds the “google” of the agentic world
