The Wolves are heading into a Game 6 against a 62-win opponent in the 2nd Round, and they got here mostly without one starting guard and with their best player seriously hobbled.

Part of the issue there is that Victor got fouled twice, including McDaniels grabbing his other arm with 2 hands. And so when guys get beat up like that, they respond physically as well. Doesn't excuse the elbow, but could have been avoided by calling the first 2.

I’m really impressed by San Antonio right now. As much as I am equally frustrated with Minnesota, they’ve played harder, created easier shots, and have been playing incredible team basketball. Minnesota needs this to flip in the fourth big time. Rest of the team is letting ant down

@y2jestrada They're definitely not but it's an argument we can have as I mentioned. The point is there's a big gap after the Thunder and Spurs right now. None of these teams are beating them.

The Lakers are in a weird spot. You can make the argument they are the third best team in the league when healthy but there's a big gap between the Thunder and Spurs and the rest of the league. The third place team has never felt further away from title contention.

Asked Chris Finch about Julius Randle's playmaking in this series thus far, given that he's only has 4 total assists in Game 1 through 3.
Finch noted that Randle drove and kicked effectively 15 times during Game 3, and that those just didn't lead to any points.

One of Mitch Johnson’s best adjustments in the series has been to start trapping Anthony Edwards earlier in possessions more aggressively. Because Victor can park in the Paint there isn’t really an advantage yielded consistently when you go after Ant like that. The Wolves don’t have enough players that want to shoot the ball right away off the catch, so they are searching for a drive and kick option, but it doesn’t really come because Victor doesn’t allow for enough penetration to force a rotation. The Spurs don’t really have to rotate that much because he’s down there, so the Wolves really have trouble getting good looks unless they can just pound their way into a deeper spot through one of their bigger guys.
