In the first 2 minutes of The Odyssey (2026) instead of setting the scene of ancient Anatolia, the first thing you see and hear is woke DEI Hollywood having Travis Scott narrate in a Black Poets Society voice, then a short haired Transgender boy as the Greek Solider delivering the Trojan Horse. Some of you may celebrate this thinking it's so woke and liberal or that it's great that trans and black actors get the spotlight in Hollywood, but it was just liberal bs that added nothing to the plot and was just virtue signaling.

@l3d1c This angle is clear unlike the others. You can literally see the trajectory take a slight downward angle. His hair even gets pushed up by the contact.. The larger issue is that we have to rely on a chip in these big moments far too often.

What actually happened: they ran signal processing over 500Hz IMU data from a 14-gram sensor and isolated a supposed contact spike from thousands of noisy samples dominated by bladder harmonics, panel flex, spin wobble and stadium micro-tremors, then nullified one of the most dramatic World Cup equalizers in history via spectral analysis of what is essentially glorified noise. Oh, and it gets better. They moved the chip this year. Back in 2022, it used to hang suspended in the center of the ball. Now it's glued into the sidewall of ONE panel, with counterweights stuffed into the other three so the ball doesn't fly like a shopping cart. So sensitivity now depends on which side of the ball the "contact" happens relative to the sensor. Totally fine basis for ending a nation's tournament. An IMU measures acceleration. The calibration data is unpublished. The patents are literally still in their secrecy window. And FIFA owns the raw data, so nobody can independently audit the trace that ended Modrić's last World Cup. And we're all supposed to accept a "heartbeat graphic" on the broadcast as if that settles anything. Since we sadly all know you won't ever admit your crimes or remove this technology for good, at least open source the detection pipeline, @FIFAcom! Publish the thresholds, the error rates, the raw IMU trace from last night. If the tech is right, transparency costs nothing, right?

The saddest part is, he won’t be given a chance, just like 99% of other Tottenham players put out on loan. Tottenham don’t loan players aren’t for development. They loan them to up market value. I have just awoken from an absolutely crazy nightmare. It starts, I am having dinner with Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta, at Salt Bae’s restaurant in London. We are exchanging tactical ideas. But halfway through this dinner, I try to check my phone, because I had no update from my friend Ange Postecoglou, who was also meant to attend this dinner. I spend minutes looking for it, not even focusing on the accent. Mikel says to me, “No, no… we speak about de phone later, eh? Now we are here, we enjoy de dinner… fully. Dis is de moment, yeah? You have to be present.” I obey, as I do not want to kill the vibe. Dinner goes on, we share some Sangria wine, eat steak. And of course, share tactical ideas. @_walkeran @InvertTheWing Have you even watched Vuskovic defend? He's poor atm but obviously will develop in time. He's great at scoring goals like Gabriel but he's not up to the standard and required level for a defender in the Premier League.

Get rid of Dragusin. Integrate Vuskovic. Integrate Byfield. Keep Danso as backup. Tottenham’s centre back position is theoretically sorted for the next few years, they just need to play it smart. It is inevitable Romero/Van De Ven will eventually leave, but at that point, should hope Byfield and Vuskovic are ready to start.

Have you seen the quality of the Bundesliga 🤣 You think Byfield will be ready next season based on 30 minutes? Saliba was a generational talent at 18, yet it took him 3 years to become PL ready and this was where Arsenal and Arteta actually had a long term plan...
