Overall probably but I mean someone like dave2d gets away with having extremely clean thumbnails and people are able to recognise him from his style alone I think a better way of saying it is make your thumbnails consistently recognisable to your audience whether that involves your face or not, maybe that’s what op meant but idk

Idk what YouTuber needs to hear this but.. Your face does NOT have to be in every thumbnail you make I see creators ruin perfectly good thumbnails by forcing their face into it, because they see other YouTubers doing it But I promise it’s not always needed

I might just be chilling cuz I have a new one then, I just want a pc that works and I usually sell mine every 2 ish years and buy a new one. I’ve found it as a fairly economical way to keep me on new hardware (after selling the pc it usually only costs me a few hundred to build a new one), but not everyone is in the position to do that. What gpu r u on? When did they kill the drivers?

@_xeshi @NikTek NV killed a driver just last month. I don't remember NV having as many issues until they released the RTX4000 series.

I’ve tried amd 3 goddamn times, rx 580, 6750xt, 7800xt, every time is the same story. When it is stable it works wonderfully and performs at insanely good value, but I’ve rarely had that be the case. I’m on a 5070ti now and my computer just operates without worrying about graphics drivers now

Apple keeps putting better features on their lower end products. I would rather a MacBook Pro with slightly bigger bezels and no notch, I would rather an iPad Pro with Touch ID instead of Face ID (that ones more preference but still) Almost like they are trying to make things they don’t want to do seem like a bad way of doing it by putting it on a lower end products Like Touch ID? No that’s not preference that’s the cheaper way of doing it Face ID is premium and you should spend more money to get that instead

@nalinrajput23 It needed to be above the function row not replace it, it would’ve actually been an amazing feature imo if it was implemented that way. I had one and using the Touch Bar was really handy for everything besides using the function row

Very limiting was probably an overstatement, i just think 12 gb would’ve inspired a lot more confidence in me for the lifespan of the laptop, but honestly I don’t know how much more demanding the web/average tasks could get lol I do think it will probably be perfectly fine btw I’m just nit picking if anything, it is honestly a breath of fresh air for Apple to release a budget laptop

@_xeshi @droidbeauty @LuftkoppTim i don’t really think 8 is very limiting, in an actual college classroom you’ll see hundreds of 2017 macbook air/pros with 8gbs of ram (as well as countless windows laptops with 8) and these students aren’t complaining. people do not realize most of the slowdowns the computer has.

Im worried just simply because 8 is VERY limiting, most people who aren’t power users are probably also not the best with managing what they have running in the background, I think 12 would’ve given users a lot more comfort but with the current ram shortage I can see why they went with 8 and it *should* be usable for the average person MacOS is also way better with ram management so they will also have that going for them, I think it will be a great laptop for people who just need the basics and aren’t doing anything crazy like me and this dude lol
