His argument is ridiculous, he keeps talking about a bunch of supermen gods, but he knows we speak of God, the creator, the omnipotent and omniscient, of which there can only be one. If there is more than one, logically, they are identical.

@Rebecca_SPaul Palliative care won't reach the levels you wish for. The dying, particularly the elderly dying of degenerative diseases, will always be marginalised and care under-funded - the living are more important. Thanks for making this bill fail, and denying those people a dignified end.

Now that the assisted suicide bill has fallen, it is time to focus on delivering what will actually help the most people at the end of their lives- better palliative care.

I’ve seen someone else on here suggest that the retired doctor who wrote this was a “junior” doctor in 1974 when he was “happy with £7,500” Just so we’re all clear on the maths: £7,500 in 1974 in today’s money is: 🔹 £114,756 by RPI inflation. 🔸 £72,046 by CPI inflation.

@drkeithsiau @tonyver45 I remember when I was an FY1, I did a rectal exam because my Reg told me it was necessary tho I tried to avoid it. I was so inexperienced, I went to him after the exam and asked him, what was I actually supposed to be feeling 😂 I still remember the funny look he gave me.

@tonyver45 How good is rectal exam for prostate in non-specialist hands? There is also the downside that rectal exam can potentially elevate PSA levels.

Abandoning Salah is worse than a lot of sins people see as major, like zina, drinking alcohol, eating pig, etc.
