@ConfessionsMew It's a single player roguelike game with extreme rng. Instead of nerfing hunter, maybe the other classes could use a bit of love instead.
English

@ConfessionsMew I'll add that while it does become better when you get good furniture and a big house and can breed good skills or passives to other cats, making sure that every class will start off good (with enough work done on them). But it takes countless hours to get to that point.
English

@ConfessionsMew Every class pops off super good. Problem is some classes never pop off and they become dead weight. Some other classes are just good at their core. Ranger always works out, even a shit tank is just a big bunch of HP and does it's job of getting hit and surviving at it's worst.
English

@ConfessionsMew Problem is, sometimes you dont get that with druid. I had passives for pets but never got pet spells (at least the crow is there). Another time I got shapeshifting passives but 0 shapeshift spells.
English

@UnderTheMayo Tank controls work with the changing camera angles. Holding the button in the same direction would let the character run properly in the changing angles. After going through the hallways multiple times (as one would in a RE game), you could nagivate them effortlessly.
English

At this point I think the correct response is just fuck you.

It needs to be said: Tank controls for controlling a character are just bad. People aren't tanks. Just because you got used to the bad controls doesn't mean they aren't still bad.

@FFVIINovels The game is more complex then it looks and the class system leads to some amazing replaiblity and challenge runs.
English

@FFVIINovels @impthefox They all have 3-4 moments in the game where they all shine one after the other. In a way it's reflected to their respective crystal and what it embodies.
English

@impthefox At the moment, I think Faris is my fave, but I’m only a couple of hours into the game.
English

@Asher73979290 @lofi_lover0930 @Slappy422 Oh I know it's a great and very deep game. It's just too hard for me. I prefer shooters like TF2 or Overwatch from back in the days when I played those.
English

Thats what the mechs are for. Some people dont want to spend time learning the pilot movements so they focus more on stationary movements and slow/heavy techs.
Both are fun for me.
I think the biggest issue was marketing and a lack of content. The multi-player needed at least double its content to stay relevant imho
English

Until today I am so fucking baffled how Call of Duty and Battlefield are more popular than Titanfall
Titanfall is BETTER than both and does way more than both so I'm genuinely confused how it flopped
ℤ ❖@musyasugyo
It's been about a decade and still nobody has made a multiplayer shooter that's a fraction as electric or emphatic as Titanfall, where moments like this are a dime a dozen.
English

@Asher73979290 @lofi_lover0930 @Slappy422 The movement in TF is extremely cool, but looks so complex for my mid ass that I never wanted to touch it. I know that I'll never be good at that game.
English

@lofi_lover0930 @Slappy422 I mean he's not wrong.
Traditional CoD was mostly a boots on the ground kind of experience, while TF was way more movement based and mech focused.
2 totally different experiences.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) features 8 different epilogues, each detailing the trajectory of the franchise's most important characters after the destruction of Raccoon City.
There is plenty of debate about the importance of RE3 as a mainline title, and especially as a sequel to RE2, but I believe this shows that Resident Evil 3 was clearly intended to wrap up this first phase of the series.

English

@alaskorly Ammo is scarce if you try to gun down everything when you can. But the games can also be beaten by the knife and knowing how to abuse enemy movement. I was hurting for ammo when I first played, and then I saw that shotgun blasts are 1 hit kill in close range. You learn eventually
English

I've played RE games *a lot* throughout my life and one of the strangest misconceptions about 'survival horror' is that "ammo should be scarce"
what part of old survival horror games ever signaled that? it wasn't silent hill
it wasn't resident evil
where did it come from?
Matthew@NEEMOAHTOAD
Idk if I have enough guns and ammo guys
English

@HubPointless Dungeon Meshi is the one that comes to mind for me. Out of the stuff that I've been reading.
If we can add Manwha to the list then it's Greatest Estate Developper. So far it's my only manwha 10/10 and it has a peak ending. It also has multiple post story chapters that are peak.

@lastchalice @TheAnnaji There's a streamer that I like and he once sat down with a game, played it for 5 minutes and said he hated the controls and shut it down. To his credit he didn't call the game trash, he just said he would not play it cause it felt bad to him. I assume this is people with tank C.
English

@TheAnnaji My main thing is that I don’t believe a good chunk of people have actually sat down, used it for 20 minutes and genuinely tried it.
English

@lastchalice They're not hard but I was 9 years old when RE1 came out and I was having trouble understanding that zombies took too much ammo to kill, and running past them was really tricky and I failed most of the time.
It took RE4 to understand tank controls properly. Now I love OG RE123
English

@PlayStalgiaX It kinda sucks, but the bad part is it could have been way better with just a bit of polish. It's not all bad.
English

@brianonhere Aren't the house all painted white and light grey because it's an easy colour to flip? Those houses are cleaned up and made as neutral as possible for a resale.
English

maybe this is controversial but i don’t think it’s fair to describe it as “millennial gray” when we were primarily victims of it, not perpetrators. that’s like calling phone addiction “Gen Z Ailment” or lead poisoning as “Gen X Water”

proudest achievement of 2026 thus far has been buying a home with my lover and immediately doing everything we can to rid the property of the soul sucking millennial gray/blue hues
