🇩🇪 Germany didn't learn the lesson of fascism. It learned the aesthetics of opposing it. Germany has spent 80 years trying to atone for the Holocaust by writing blank cheques to a state now committing its own genocide. The irony is no longer subtle. It is historically catastrophic. Germany pays billions in reparations to Israel annually, not because international law requires it, but because its political class has made unconditional loyalty to Israel the price of domestic legitimacy. Criticize Israeli policy in Germany and you don't lose the argument. You lose your job, your platform, and now apparently your legal right to carry a watermelon. This is what that blind loyalty has produced. A country that criminalizes a cartoon character drawn by a Palestinian refugee, classifies fruit as extremist symbolism, and deploys its intelligence apparatus against university students holding vigils. Meanwhile Germany itself is in accelerating decline. Energy costs that destroyed its industrial base after Nord Stream. An economy that contracted for two consecutive years. A political landscape so fractured that far right parties are now mainstream. Infrastructure that would embarrass a developing nation. A migration crisis its government created and cannot manage. Germany didn't learn the lesson of fascism. It learned the aesthetics of opposing it, the memorials, the guilt, the performative remembrance, while recreating its machinery against a different set of victims. The Holocaust was humanity's greatest modern crime. Its legacy deserves better than being weaponized to silence the people documenting the next one.

@wiseman1csaid @CryptoWhale Yes, it's true. X disabled automatic translations for Hebrew posts in late 2025. The stated reason was to avoid AI mistranslations distorting idioms/context into inflammatory or policy-violating content during high tensions. Original Hebrew text remains fully visible.

Leaked Footage from Israeli Airforce Shows IDF Apache Helicopter Firing on its OWN Citizens at Supernova Music Festival on October 7 “The pilots realised that there was tremendous difficulty in distinguishing within the occupied outposts and settlements who was a terrorist and who was a soldier or civilian.” […] “The rate of fire against the thousands of terrorists was tremendous at first, and only at a certain point did the pilots begin to slow down the attacks and carefully select the targets.” Middle East Eye @VanessaBeeley

Sandra Hüller on if she "feels the guilt" of Germany's past: "Yes, I feel the guilt every day. And also I never get bored of it, to feel the guilt because it's necessary to act right." variety.com/2026/film/fest…

Hind rajab - 5 years old - 355 bullets Never forget.

I watched TROY again and I think the problem is Brad Pitt is the definitive Achilles. Anything below his feral physical perfection comes off like weak ass cosplay. Every man is Elliot Page compared to this guy.
