People like Aliko Dangote, Abdul Samad Rabiu and many other Northerners built businesses, created jobs and contributed massively to Lagos while still respecting the culture of Lagosians.
The Lagos spirit is to build wealth and coexist peacefully.
To the people of Apapa. A loud voice is coming to accelerate impact. ❤️☺️

Most of our brothers and sisters don't know what to say during Salatul janaaza (Burial prayers): Here is how to pray Salatul Janaaza.
1- After the First Takbeer: Recite Surat Al-Fatiha.
1. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
2. Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen
3. Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
4. Maaliki Yawmid-Deen
5. Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een
6. Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem
7. Siraatal-lazeena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril- maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-daaalleen

Q: You are beating your mentor (Al-Makura) in the game. Why are you doing that?
Gov Sule: This is the reason why you see many successors and predecessors having problems in this country. I have maintained my calm throughout. Just because you support somebody doesn’t mean, let me tell you in the Quran, God says, I created you, and even if the parents who gave birth to you are asking you to do something wrong and you believe it is wrong, he said, don’t do it.

ADC/NDC: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE!
With Obi and Kwankwaso aligning with the NDC, this shift could turn into an unintended advantage for the coalition.
While many Nigerians, myself inclusive, had hoped for a single, united coalition, it’s reasonable to assume that Tinubu would have deployed every available resources at his disposal, including the courts, to keep the ADC off the ballot. But now, with the coalition effectively split into two blocs, ADC and NDC, that calculation changes.
If Tinubu continues targeting the ADC alone, it would risk leaving the NDC, backed by Obi and Kwankwaso, as the sole opposition platform. That could prove politically costly for Tinubu. On the other hand, moving against both ADC and NDC would raise serious concerns domestically and internationally, potentially casting doubt on Nigeria’s democratic credibility in general.
In that context, the more likely scenario i forsee happening, is that Tinubu allows both parties (ADC and NDC) to contest, resulting in a divided opposition heading into 2027. If that happens, we may see a repeat of the 2023 pattern at the presidential level (Cos this will definitely favour Tinubu) while ADC and NDC make significant gains in National Assembly races, particularly across the North and East.
Regardless of how this unfolds, I remain committed to the ADC. My hope is that both ADC and NDC will dial down tensions and keep sight of a broader objective. Politics has a way of bringing unlikely partners back to the table, and cooperation, in one form or another, may yet prove necessary!
Salihu Tanko Yakasai,
Arise and shine, Nigeria 🤝

@a_lmumin @ProfIsaPantami But after reading the post u still couldn't grab anything, reason why its so easy to fail an exam. Did he request the party to hand him the ticket? NO, he only state what is his right..he purchased the form an he didn't consent to the consensus which means a primary must take plc
English

While Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, CON was in Abuja today evening, we heard about the emergence of a coronation which is called a "consensus" for all the elective positions in Gombe State.
Legally, there can be no valid consensus without involving the aspirants who have obtained or completed their expression of interest and nomination forms.
We advise all our supporters to remain calm and law-abiding. However, the total disregard for the provisions of the law cannot be ignored by us.
The Nigeria Electoral Act, 2026, outlines the modes of nomination in Section 84 (2):
Political parties are restricted to only two methods for selecting candidates in which coronation is not among them. The two methods are:
1) Consensus: A candidate may emerge if all cleared aspirants provide written consent to step down. If even one aspirant refuses, the party must revert to a direct primary.
2) Direct Primaries: Every registered party member has the right to vote directly for their preferred aspirant.
The action is completely contrary to the provisions of the law, the directive of the National Party, and the instruction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
We urge our supporters to get ready for direct primaries after addressing major challenges in the APC database in the state. Our legal team is also working on addressing the challenges and observations.
May Allah bless Gombe State and may Allah bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Thank you all.
Signed:
Professor Suleiman Mohammed
From Gombe State.

@Imranmuhdz The Gov is the leader In the state, just like other Govs chose their preferred candidates, I see no reason why Almakura is feeling a sense of entitlement about who succeed the Gov. He wants IG and Gov wants Wadada
English

Sen. Tanko Al-makure has a right to his opinion, but he has no right on other things he doesn’t know, even if he gave birth to me. If I decide to go and brief President Tinubu with a prepared candidate, and I didn't carry Sen. Almakure along, that is not his right.
- Gov. Sule of Nasarawa on issues with his predecessor, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, regarding his choice of Senator Wadada as his successor.
