Unless they make the same mistake with Magyar they did with Orbán early (when they tried to bully him for more help), Ukraine will be fine with him. Ukraine has 3 major conflict area with Hungary (minority, transit pipelines and EU/NATO membership) and the war does not help either of these, but Orbán's strategy exacerbated all 3. I expect moderate stances and more backroom talks from a Magyar government.

We disliked having pro-Russian government, but Orbán will go for mainly domestic policy reasons and we don't want a pro-Ukranian government either. We expect our govt to focus on internal issues.
