I really want to hear how Republicans reconcile the whole "Democrats don't care about our national debt" argument with this simple, yet informative chart: 1989-1992 - Bush increases our deficit. 1993-2000 - Clinton has a budget surplus 2001-2008 - Bush increases our deficit, also sparks Great Recession 2009-2016 - Obama reduces our deficit significantly after an increase as he takes office during the Great Recession 2017-2020 - Trump increases our deficit thanks to Tax Cuts, before Covid explodes our deficit further 2021-2023 - Biden Takes over during Covid and begins reducing our deficit Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?   I know that our national debt is a problem and both sides should be blamed to some extent, but the GOP narrative that this is a Democratic problem is just laughable to me.

The investigation found that Swalwell acted properly when he immediately ended the relationship and cooperated with the FBI upon finding out. That’s right. House Republicans wasted million dollars of taxpayer dollars on a nothing-burger cooked up by the propagandists at FOX “News” — and Congressman Swalwell ended up being totally cleared by their own investigation today. Neither Speaker questioned my actions nor politicized my cooperation. Despite the FBI repeatedly saying I was nothing but helpful and never accused of wrongdoing, this complaint was filed by a House Republican. ... If the intent in bringing this complaint and leveling false smears was to silence me that is not going to happen. 🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: A New York judge has scheduled Donald Trump’s CRIMINAL TRIAL for March 2024. That means the trial will take place BEFORE the 2024 election. This is HUGE development that will send shockwaves throughout the Republican primary that could extend to the general election. The trial date was set during a brief hearing Tuesday in which Judge Juan Merchan read Trump an order on what he can and cannot say publicly about the case and evidence his legal team will get from prosecutors to prepare for trial. Trump appeared remotely via video feed so the judge could communicate with him in open court. Trump pleaded not guilty last month to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records with the intent to conceal illegal conduct connected to his 2016 presidential campaign. Judge Merchan also cautioned Trump and his attorneys that Trump's violation of the order preventing him from publicly disclosing evidence could result in sanctions. It was all about how do you use a pandemic to clam down censorship. How you use it to force lockdowns. By the way, with lockdowns, every pandemic preparedness document that had been adopted by any major public health agencies, whether it was CDC, WHO, European Health Agency, National Health Services of Britain. All of them said you don't do lockdowns, you quarantine the sick, you protect the vulnerable. And you let everybody else go back to work because a lockdown actually amplifies the impacts of the disease.
