So… I’ve been doing some digging on the 1906 CoF relating the turning circle.
Turns out there’s 2 likely reasons as to why we have a taxi turning circle.
1 is entirely redundant, the 2nd is almost as redundant.
Any guesses before I reveal the answers?
Been down to @blackcabcom for there supersides that come with a great deal of 2 years meter, 2 years legal cover, payment equipment, front and rear regulated cameras. Swift in and out. Managed to meet and have a in depth conversation about the future of @blackcabcom
@LeeCarpDangler Silly question time but if it’s open to all drivers, and it’s 0%, how does it profit?
Obviously with taxiworld they’re getting the fees but what about cabvision?
Which has left me feeling totally positive about the app. Needs time but Rome wasn't built in a day but the potential of having an app open to all drivers and finally taking back our work at 0% commission, with benefits for passengers also. What more could we want for our future
Customer is not happy with the Heathrow £7 drop off fare. Pointed out to me the “NEW” TfL fare chart (which I put in today) says the drop off charge is still £6! Unbelievable. @TfLTPH@TheLTDA@The_LCDC sort it out
For those that don’t know, your phone battery health is improved by keeping your phone between 20-80% charge. Anything above or below puts stress on it. On iPhone 15 & above, you can select the charge limit set to 80%. So far I’ve still got 100% health as a result.

@CabvisionTaxi@blackcabcom Not having a dig here but if someone asked me to go to a .com website i would think it’s a lot of hassle, maybe it should mention the fact blackcab.com is an app, don’t think it’s very clear from a customer pov
We’re remotely removing the @CabvisionTaxi logos from our Pro payment devices and replacing with @blackcabcom messaging.
All iPhone users will see the new standby screen by Tuesday. Android to follow shortly.
Anyone on here have a contact for the extended warranty company for the txe? Can’t find anything on Google and don’t have any info from when I bought it as it just came with the cab
