Being doored is a huge danger for cyclists - it's one of the biggest causes of killed and seriously injured cyclists in London. Drivers, PLEASE allow space for cyclists to ride well out from parked cars. Cyclists, PLEASE only ride close to parked cars when under 5mph.

Cars are already banned from Oxford Street. It is about pedestrianisation for millions of visitors and tourists, which Westminster Labour opposed as well. Hence, the @MayorofLondon took control away from the nimbys.
