@LLMsee @AlboMP Because 15 of them were gunned down on a public beach, their houses of worship have been set alight, their schools need armed guards, their children need to be guarded when they go on holiday camps, any community meetings have police. No other group has to put up with this shit.

🙏🏽 to so many writers withdrawing from WritersWeek in solidarity with Dr Abdel-Fattah & against racism & discrimination. This grave error (backed by the Premier!) is 💔. It must be reversed. We need these spaces for talk like never before. First they came for the artists…

@afalkhatib Thank you Ahmed. You bring an authentic and intelligent voice to this chaos. The pro Palestinian movement in the west is a form of moral and tribal narcissism. It's all about them. They are not seeking solutions only hatred.

Whatever happened to providing news, analyses, and evidence/fact-based commentary, rather than pro-terror stupidity disguised as "intellectualism"? Why are some "pro-Palestine" so-called "journalists" such unbearable scum of the earth, the most antisemitic, vile humans, running interference for Hamas, terrorism, Iran, anti-American, and anti-Western agendas in the name of supporting the people of Gaza? If you need further proof, consider the example of Muhammad Idrees Ahmad, Zachary Foster, and countless others who have proven to be more antagonistic to me than the most diehard “Zionists” ever have been. The amount of pressure and attacks that I have been under in recent weeks by so-called “pro-Palestine” journalists, the MAJORITY of whom are not Palestinian, is truly despicable, and revealing of the rot within the pro-Palestine discourse. What sustains and keeps me going are the countless people I speak to in the Gaza Strip who are completely opposed to the pro-terror, pro-“resistance” narrative that’s fraudulently propped up by a bunch of clueless, moronic, and out-of-touch Western imbeciles.

A war hawk or a peace advocate? Over the past couple of weeks, what I have shared online about my views on the war between Israel and Iran has made for quite an uncomfortable situation for myself, and for my relationship with friends, allies, and those who have long supported my messaging and work regarding Gaza, Israel and Palestine. I wanted to share some brief thoughts in the hope of clarifying what I have been thinking and where I am coming from, even if that still leaves people unhappy with what I have been saying. I have been uncomfortable with the fact that while I despise Benjamin Netanyahu and the current Israeli government, and I strongly disagree with some of the decisions and foreign policy of the Trump Administration, I also recognize that Gaza’s destruction and annihilation are partially due to direct actions by the Mullahs’ regime which played a critical role in setting Gaza up for perpetual war. I have been ferociously opposed to Hamas in part because of its despicable alliance with the fascist Islamic Republic of Iran and its regime. Tehran has long abused the Palestinian cause, especially the Gaza Strip, to build a terror base from which it can use Palestinians as pawns in the fight against Israel. I and millions of Palestinians have long opposed Iranian meddling in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian national project for independence and statehood, which was undermined by financial, material, political, and propaganda support for Hamas and terror factions in Gaza, all as part of the so-called “axis of resistance,” which was the touted ring of fire surrounding Israel. But this ring of fire was only meant to entrench the Mullahs’ grip on power and keep Israel and the United States away from Iran’s prized nuclear weapons program. What made me exceptionally uncomfortable is the fact that I felt that something potentially positive was being done by terrible players; as in, Iran was facing the consequences of its belligerence, the climax of which was on display during the October 7 attacks that ultimately got Gaza and the Palestinian people decimated by the most far-right government in Israel’s history. Unfortunately, many leftists, anti-war types, and isolationists were willing to let a criminal regime proceed with obtaining the deadliest weapons that would have unleashed further death and destruction upon the Arab, Sunni, and Palestinian people throughout the Middle East. There will never be a safe, independent, stable, or prosperous Palestinian nation and state while the Islamic Republic of Iran exists in its current shape and form. I am a peace advocate who believes in pragmatic steps to end territorial disputes and stop needless bloodshed in the name of nationalism, ethnic supremacy, and intolerance. What I am not is a pacifist who rejects the pragmatic and targeted application of violence under very specific and narrow circumstances to forestall or prevent greater harm. Do I think that the Israeli government is necessarily a trustworthy player to carry out such a task? I am not so sure. But do I believe that the Iranian regime must finally face deadly consequences for its horrendous acts that got hundreds of thousands of Arab people in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and not to mention other meddling in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and beyond? Absolutely, yes. After all, the removal of Hamas in Gaza to end the terror group’s control and initiate transformation and recovery requires the targeted application of violence against the group’s infrastructure and operatives, ideally, by Palestinians to save Palestinian lives and end the suffering once and for all. This is what radical pragmatism is about: understanding that kumbayas, useless peace marches, nice-sounding declarations, social media posts, and naïve statements by out-of-touch activists will never achieve stability, peace, or actual progress for Israel and Palestine, or the broader Middle East, and the discourse without recognizing the need for narrow and uncomfortable uses of strategically-targeted force & power. That is why I don’t call myself a peace activist, but rather a peace advocate.

Hillel, the ABC News interview was very good. You presented your case strongly and the interviewer could not refute anything you said. Half an hour later they had the UNRWA representative on, who said that out of 30,000 staff, only 9 were dismissed, and downplayed the role of Hamas in UNRWA, of course. Needless to say, they are not playing your interview again, but they keep replaying the UNRWA representative, again and again. I have tried to find video of your interview but can't find it. If you get a link to the video, please respond here. Thankyou, for all your fine work.

From being kidnapped by terrorists, to losing limbs in the terrorist attack, to pleading on Hamas’s cameras for the world to bring them home, to 10 months of the unimaginable in terror tunnels, it is not just our leadership that has failed them, it is the entire world. It’s the protestors, the online narratives, the courts, the ICJ that “didn’t have jurisdiction” to implicate Hamas, and everybody in a position of power fighting over the word “genocide” but not holding accountable a genocide that had just occurred and was ongoing in the tunnels, while the Ivy League-educated dismissed the victims of it as “white colonizers.” This is our upside down world, and we are all responsible for it. I am convinced that every senseless death could’ve been avoided on Oct. 8 had the world just done the right thing and placed blame where it was logically, factually, and legally due: on the terrorists who started this war and refuse to finish it. With the world’s pressure, Qatar and the regime in Iran would threaten to expel Hamas leaders for not cooperating or face the world’s wrath. Instead, Useful Idiots chanted in the streets, “we are all Hamas!” And “bring the war home!” It was not them, though, that had to find out who Hamas were or what it meant to be at home in the war. To Hersh, Eden, Ori, Alex, Carmel, and Almog, I am sorry they failed you. I am sorry the world failed you. Those who pleaded to bring you home went unheard, so God had to bring you home instead. It would take so many lifetimes to heal the scars of this injustice, but of course, nobody cares, because “what about…”
