I’m convinced that I could spend upwards of 6 hours teaching the opening story of Dubliners called “The Sisters.” Joyce is a maestro, a wizard of the highest order.

@kalezelden Reread it a couple of months ago (after 50+ years). An incredible combination of meticulous description, astonishing imagination, audacious thought, and riveting prose.

It takes about 2 minutes to read a page of a novel. So you can read about 15 pages a half hour. At that pace, you can read Moby Dick (even the essential parts that everyone skips…come at me!) in about a month at 15 pages a day. Take and read, friends! It’s a life-changer.
