NEW: Florida teacher arrested after he taught a 13-year-old girl Morse Code so he could communicate with her, dates her mother so he could have access to the teen. 41-year-old Daniel Le Lievre is accused of grooming and r*ping her, according to police. After about four months of dating the girl's mother, Le Lievre said he only dated her so he could get closer to the daughter. On Christmas Day in 2023, the girl says she was told to remove her clothes before Le Lievre assaulted her on the bathroom floor. The alleged r*pe lasted for 10 minutes. According to reports, Le Lievre changed the girl's schedule at Tuskawilla Middle School so she could be in his class. "Detectives said the mother caught Le Lievre talking to her daughter on the phone in the middle of the night multiple times and holding her hands at Disney Springs," WCAX reported. Le Lievre is being held without bond.

Notes to myself when I'm overwhelmed: • Block out 30 minutes and just write everything down. • Say no more. Don't say yes unless it's a "hell yeah." Sometimes, saying yes to someone means you're saying no to yourself. • The best productivity hack is realizing the task isn't essential, and you can just delete it. •Focus on the big tasks, the needle movers. Doing too many small tasks = death by a thousand paper cuts. • Be biased towards building leverage. Invest in things that keep paying off after the work is done. • Slow down to go faster. Take a break before getting burned out. Or spend that extra hour planning before diving in. The direction you're going in is more important than your speed. •Don't negotiate with the basics: solid sleep, exercise, and fueling yourself with healthy food. • If you don't know something, someone else has the answer. Don't be afraid to tap into your network. • One thing at a time. Every day ask yourself, "What's the one thing I can do that'll make the biggest impact?" Oftentimes that one task is where you'll feel the most resistance. You don't need more tactics. You need fewer things done better. Simplify and prioritize.

@Route2FI Geographic arbitrage is a cheat code. But the real unlock is the environment change - you stop optimizing for comfort and start optimizing for growth. Hard to level up when you're stuck in the same patterns with the same people.

Must be rough being a student these days. A drink is $20-25 on bars/clubs now, easily $100 a night. Maybe $1-1,5k+ in rent per month, then you have food, transportation and neccesities. Maybe an hourly salary is like $20, so either you have to work a lot or finance your living with debt. I didn't even include school costs, but it's easy to see that they young fellas today has it much harder than their earlier generations. Most people cope and just doomscroll TikTok, seeing no way out of this. The only solution is to own assets, and when you're young, what do you do in order to try to acquire these assets? Hypergambling is one option. You have very little to lose, but the upside could retire you. And if you lose, you either try again or just accept your reality. If you're young today, and spending most of your time online anyway, it defintely makes sense to try to reduce your costs (at least if you dream about retiring early). I think moving to South East Asia or Eastern Europe could be a smart move for many for some years. It's cheaper, and you can easily focus 100% on crypto/online business without having to worry about paying rent, etc. Living somewhere else can also be a positive experience. Yes, you're away from friedns/family, but this could also lead you to grow more faster. Instead of spending time with your childhood friends back home (which prob is mid), you can spend it with people that are having the same goals as you have. This will speed up your journey massively. And when you walk away with millions (hopefully), you can always move back home. With the K-shaped economy rising, you'll have to choose your path going forward, and the least thing you can do for yourself is to try to escape the permanent underclass.
