Military Presence – If Denmark requests assistance, individual EU countries could send troops to Greenland as a deterrent. At the same time, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that he plans to discuss the "acquisition" of Greenland with Denmark as early as next week. The White House emphasized that negotiations are the priority, but a military intervention is not ruled out.
