@PlinthBotherer5 It just gets worse and worse. Ashamed of the force who are meant to protect the largely brilliant people in Nottingham.

@NottsOPCC @AngelaKandola Really sums up this police force. You are the centre of an inquiry into the deaths of three people caused by your failings and you have the cheek to say you run a well managed city.

Their names are Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. Use them. They deserve to be remembered, not him.

Ohh fuck off with plastering Huntleys face all over the headline as if he’s the one who deserves sympathy because hes "fighting for his life".
These two sweet, innocent children Holly and Jessica lost their lives to this vile monster, and they are the ones who should be remembered. Their faces, their names, their stories, that’s what matters
While the media focuses on him fighting for his life. Two families are still living a nightmare they will never wake up from. No sentence will ever bring those children back. No punishment can undo the pain caused.
The real tragedy here was the loss of these two young lives and the devastation left behind because of his vile unforgiven actions. That’s where the attention should be, on the victims, on accountability, and on making sure justice is done.
As for him, if he survives or not i coudnt give a flying fuck as long as he suffers. No outcome for him will ever balance what was taken. But what i can say is i would love to shake hand with who ever attacked that monster.

#APPEAL | Yesterday, James Bulger's grave was vandalised at #Kirkdale Cemetery.
👉 At around 4.20pm, we received a report that damage had been caused to two large marble angels on either side of the headstone, a smaller angel had been put in a nearby bin and a yellow teddy had been stolen.
It’s believed that the incident would have taken place at some point between 9am and 3pm.
Officers attended the scene and offered support to the family. Initial enquiries were carried out, which included a search of the area, and we continue to explore any CCTV and witness opportunities.
Local Policing Inspector Chris Taylor said 🗣️ “We are taking this matter extremely seriously and remain determined to find the person or people responsible.
“To vandalise a grave is completely abhorrent and it’s truly shocking to think that someone could commit such an appalling act. Officers attended the scene when the incident was first reported and we are supporting the family during our enquiries.
“If you were in the area and saw anything suspicious or have any information about what happened, please get in touch as a matter of urgency. We believe the vandalism was caused at some point between 9am and around 3pm so if you know anything, come forward.”
To get in touch, you can call 101 or send a message to us - @MerpolCC on social media, quoting reference number 26000159300. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their website.
