In the U.S., everyone screams “pay-to-play” is killing soccer development. Baloney, that’s only half the story. We’re not producing enough elite players. The system fails the kids who pay and the ones who can’t. If both groups are failing, pay-to-play isn’t the real problem. The real scandal? We throw kids into organized soccer before they’ve mastered basic technical skills. The world’s best develop those foundations between ages 2 and 5, at home, in the living room, and backyard. Latin families are far more likely to use a ball as a natural toy with their child, giving them that organic head start. The love for the game grows naturally. Yet almost no one in the U.S. is talking about it. Most don’t even know what the real problem is, and that’s the biggest problem of all. You can’t fix what you don’t understand.⚽️😉

@USMNTnuisance @Eyesandvibes I'm not whining. I'm saying the team didn't look good in the last games before WC. It isn't hard to understand.

@ablatx @Eyesandvibes That’s what competing looks like. If our MLS defensive midfield, is anyone else we probably have a better chance to stop both goals. So why wine about two things that happened in one game that were from guys who shouldn’t be playing anyway

I feel amidst a variety of US Soccer analysts, Herc is probably the one that consistently represents the thoughts that I have and I see most from objective fans on Twitter. I wish we had more people willing to unabashedly call out our coach and federation vs flip flopping.

USMNT Reaction to Belgium & Portugal. Mauricio Pochettino has run out of time, and between him and Gregg Berhalter, it feels like four years were wasted. #USMNT

@USMNTnuisance @Eyesandvibes Just expecting to compete, not the endless mediocre complacency typical of USMNT. To each their own I guess.

@ablatx @Eyesandvibes Bruh the game against Portugal was fine. If you’re expecting to win against a top six country, you’re a fucking idiot

@WithTheH_ Why Yes, I do want to physically show off the superior product to cardboard on a screen! And… …It can’t be damaged …Has a serial number showing its complete history …Can’t be stolen …Has a marketplace for quick liquidity …I could go on! 😀

60+ years of licensed collectibles go fully onchain 🤝 @PaniniAmerica named OpenSea as their exclusive marketplace. Starting March 30, Panini collectors can bridge digital cards to self-custody wallets and trade directly on OS, keeping transaction history and verified status. Ownership, your way.

@steve_campbell @FplWaqaWaqa @natsturner @TopShotHotShot1 Top Shot has been around for years and it's still basically the same. Don't even mention Panini. You're talking your bag and that's fine but don't pretend physical collectables will ever be secondary.

Here's an update. In 2025, @PSAcard received 3,285 submissions of the 1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan rookie card for grading. Of those, 821 were deemed N4 (the inauthentic no grade code from @PSAcard). That puts the counterfeit rate at 24.99%, which is ~3% higher than 2023 when we last pulled the data. I'm going to pull the data on the 1984 Star #101 Jordan next...

@travisakers I’m 45. I love Led Zeppelin, I love The Beatles, I love all kinds of classic rock. Can someone please explain to me the appeal of Jerry Garcia? I just don’t get it… i’ve tried listening to the Grateful Dead, and it just seems so basic.

We've borrowed a few other engineers who are in our office now trying to push the limits of what @KellyClaudeAI can do just because it's fascinating. Testing a bunch of methods to get chains/swarms of models closer to building end-to-end production software fully autonomously.

I know this will sound insane but hear me out: Autonomous AI agents is the killer use case the crypto industry has been waiting for. Every agent will need its own wallet and to be able to quickly and seamlessly transact.

@HennieInglis @crepycidon @_ConnieShaw I think the point is more that the official FIFA Women's World Cup chose to use this clip of a goalie making a mistake and praising an easy finish instead of posting an absolute banger.

I wonder how many founders in California know that if you are making $250k/yr and move to Texas or Florida you pay $2500/mo less in taxes. Switching state of residence will save enough to cover rent.

Ok I have to ask... did anyone buy a ton of the Ukulele for Black Friday? This chart is looking like what dreams are made of... Fish Tank vibes. Curious if anyone on the timeline is sitting on a big chunk of supply.

@GergelyOrosz When I see these kind of posts, I wish they also came with details about how “old” this codebase is, type of changes (new features, bug fixes, cleanups etc), how big these patches are, CI + review turnaround times (if code reviews are involved), etc.

For the last ~20 years, I did most of my coding inside an IDE - the last ~15 with increasingly good autocomplete. Which is why it’s so weird that I barely opened an IDE the last two weeks, even as I pushed lots of code. I use the CLI, the web and my phone (!!) to prompt code

This will be a space for people to share killer use cases, agentic workflows, proven prompts, and connect with other CC obsessives. Comment “Claude” if you want to join.

I see this slop picking up a ton of attention. And while I have a bunch of questions about a lot of the shoddy """journalism""" that was done for the video, here's an easy, quick question to demonstrate how bad faith the video was done - @nickshirleyy, why did you visit a place of business and not show the sign posted on the door that showed the hours of operation? Is it because it would have shown that you showed up a full hour before it even opened? Images 1-2: A fan of mine drove to the business and took a photo of the posted sign you tried to hide, and it clearly stated the hours of operation were 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Image 3: This is a photo of the phone screen of the lady who answers the door at the next place you visit. The time listed on the phone is 1:09 PM. This happens at 22:20 in the video. Image 4: The next photo is the time being listed as 2:33 PM for the next place you visit. This happens at 33:08 in the video.

🚨 Here is the full 42 minutes of my crew and I exposing Minnesota fraud, this might be my most important work yet. We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening, the fraud must be stopped.
