My 17 pro max on iOS 27 has finally finished indexing!!!

Anyone on iOS 27 beta 1 facing this issue where they restart their iphone and lose 2-3% battery from that instantly?

I can in fact say that battery life has been way better since my phone finished indexing. I’ve used 82% with 8 hours and 2 minutes of screen on time with the iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 27. I can only imagine that it’s going to improve from here. Also, if the iPhone 18 Pro Max sees an even larger battery, that phone is going to see truly remarkable battery numbers!

The duration of your indexing may be linked to the fact this is pre release software Secondly, after every software update, in particular after a full major release, indexing takes place. It always has done. The difference with #iOS27 is that it now tells you instead of it doing it in the background. Starting to wonder if Apple need to scrap and remove this from the final release as it’s going to send the world craaaazyyyy. In short - Indexing is normal. You just never knew it was happening.

@enough_yt About 5-6 hours of SOT, and for me it’s so extremely little 😭😭😭

How’s the battery backup for you guys after iOS 27? For me it’s pretty decent 5-6h on iPhone 17
