It’d be a real shame if this went super viral. Share it and share it often.

@validmavericity @PierrePoilievre Trudeau did so well. He got Carney onboard as economic advisor in 2020. Since then, the two have run up $600 billion in inflationary debt. $724 billion since 2015. A lot of that money has gone to Liberal insiders. Today, one in four Canadians can't afford enough food to eat.

@JigglyPants44 Nope. Damien stepped down & offered up his seat! You’re confusing him with Carney kicking out Chandra Ayra & keeping his $350,000. Coincidently, Chandra Ayra’s son now works for Brookfield!! Fancy that 🤔🤭

@Annans4g Yes and adding to that he has given a credit for groceries but failed to say he has taken away the GST credit which makes his move a wash. No gain just a shell game for him.

@renaudbrossard So in essence using our money to help us buy food for ourselves. Wait for it. Does not apply to all right??

This idea that cutting grocery prices by 30-40% per Canadian would involve a $300M per year subsidy is ludicrous. There are 40 million Canadians. A $300 million subsidy is about $7.50 per person. The average Canadian consumes more than $ 25 per year worth of food! #cdnpoli
Scott Robertson@sarobertsonca

Avi Lewis: "We have a very clear plan to cut grocery prices by 30-40% for Canadians at a cost to the federal government ... We'd subsidize it. It costs $350m to launch and $300m a year, which is one-half of 1% of the current defence budget."

FYI 🇨🇦 Melanie JOLY’s brother is the CEO of Intelcom/Dragonfly, delivery company. Which is backed by La Caisse (partner with Brookfield) & received loans from BDC. But also, Intelcom is a SUBCONTRACTOR to Canada Post, a Crown corporation. WHAT 🤯

Just a reminder that we haven’t had a parliamentary budget officer since March 2nd. Liberal priorities.

@SpencerFernando I think if they choose to cross so be it but have an election in that riding to verify that is what the people want. Unfortunately a liberal majority will mean more reckless spending and zero accountability from politicians. Taxpayers are in for it now.

Were Canada to ban floor crossing, we would be suppressing the individual minds of those we elect, and further concentrating power in party leaders. As things stand now, floor crossing protects independence and keeps pressure on leaders to treat their colleagues well lest they watch those colleagues head elsewhere. Floor crossing – and the threat of it – protects us from a system where those we elect turn into mindless drones serving nothing more than the centralized will of ‘the leader.’

Moral of the story.... steal gold worth $20 million and get only 4 years. The rest of us are doing it wrong. Our justice system is pooched.
Paul Manning@mobinfiltrator

Well this is fucked … The ringleader of the $22M Toronto Pearson gold heist has been sentenced to only 4 years in prison. Good behaviour, out in 18 months. For those who missed the story: in April 2023, a shipment containing roughly 400 kg of gold bars and millions in foreign currency arrived at cargo facilities at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Using a fraudulent airway bill, a truck driver simply showed up, the cargo was loaded by forklift, and the truck drove away. $22 million - gone! Arsalan Chaudhary, has been sentenced to just four years and ordered to pay restitution that will never be recovered. Let’s discuss what message this sends. If you steal $22 million, help plan the largest gold heist in Canadian history, and the likely time actually served ends up being closer to a year or two, that is not deterrence. That is a risk calculation. Organized crime does the math. Huge upside. Hardly any downside. When the punishment for high-value organized theft is measured in months not years, the justice system sends the exact opposite signal it’s meant too. Deterrence only works when the consequences outweigh the reward. Organized criminals asks themselves “Is the score worth the risk?” I’m gonna say to most, 18 months in jail definitely worth $22M.

The Alto High Speed Rail project is not designed for transportation. It is designed to transfer large amounts of taxpayer money to friends of the Liberal Party through studies, assessments, planning, evaluations, appraisals, environmental reports and Indigenous consultations. It is unlikely in the extreme that it will ever get built. ALTO - by the way - is simply a rebadging of SNC Lavalin.

COINCIDENCE? Brookfield has BILLIONS in POLITICALLY SENSITIVE investments in China. Carney stands to make MILLIONS from Brookfield. Conveniently, Brookfield's CEO was invited by CARNEY'S GOV'T to China to grow financial sector ties. With Carney, Brookfield ALWAYS comes first
