🟥 #ShortStory Once upon a time there was a beautiful country. Now, that beautiful land bordered another country - of rage and chaos. The beautiful country built a bridge to link two great cities of those two countries so that there could be trade, tourism and good will. All was well. Then the Emperor of the country of rage and chaos decided to block the opening of the "bridge of good will". He said, "there's nothing in it for us." Even though the bridge would generate billions of dollars for both nations. You see the Emperor was a corrupt, greedy and petty man. He hated seeing anything good happen for the Beautiful Country, especially if he, his family or his friends would not personally benefit. But the Prime Minister of the Beautiful Country was a strong leader with vast experience on such matters. He said, “there is a legal deal in place - let that bridge open now!” And the bridge was opened. The END.

Premier Smith sold her soul to the devil. To stay in power she panders to the most radical Wild Rose faction. It’s average and below average Albertans that will bear the cost of her medically idiotic policies. I’d like to know if any trained medical doctor supports her.

“The majority of Canadians believe everyone deserves timely access to quality public health care ... Yet Alberta’s government seems intent on ignoring those voices, while doubling-down on failed privatization & bolstering a private insurance industry”: FOM edmontonjournal.com/news/politics/…

‼️Alberta on it's way to a 2 tier system‼️ Just announced. Albertans can now book their own MRI's or other tests with private clinics and PAY for them. Private Clinics will not be capped on cost. Guess poor people will have to wait EVEN longer for their testing. 🙄

Teneycke: "I noted that Tamara Lich is seeking permission from the court to be able to go visit the White House. And was a guest of honour at the US ambassador/clown/asshole's garden party. This is about trying to not only divide the country, it's trying to interfere in the Alberta referendum."

When the Canadian Association of Radiolgists recommends that full body MRI not be used as a screening tool, but @adrianalagrange and @abdaniellesmith know better than CAR?! When a radiologist (who stands to make money from the exam) is saying not to do it, we should listen!

As a Greek, I was introduced to Homer almost as soon as I learned to read. His epics are among the first great works we encounter at school, and they remain a living part of our cultural consciousness. Given that, I really don't care whether Christopher Nolan has remained completely faithful to Homer or has taken creative liberties. What truly matters is that he has brought Homer back into the world's imagination. If his film encourages people to return to the Odyssey, discover the Iliad, or venture further into the treasures of classical literature, then it has already accomplished something extraordinary. Any work of art that sends people back to the source has, in my view, made a genuine contribution to culture.
