I am autistic and have a PhD in mathematical science. The study structurally is near certain to fail in its stated objectives. In its data usage setup (I literally manage a team of data analysts and am well compensated to advise on this), it is near certain to leak sensitive data

[Food, diet mention] Sure glad I went to see me doctor for unexplained weight gain because turns out I'm insulin resistant and actually need to eat more food MORE frequently, along with taking hormone medications. If I had tried restricting foods, I would have made it *worse*!

This. Call me old fashioned but I reckon the show about the flying wizard Jesus Nanny, the singing statue and the upside down tap dancing chimney sweep can cope with something as radical as “woman cast as woman”.

Trans women are women. So the idea of casting a woman to play a woman is hardly a "gimmick". 🙄

“We’d like DNA samples from an entire people group, please. Just to - uh - support them. Not at ALL to work out how to stop them being born. Oh, your data may be given to other companies.” In what other people group would this not cause an outcry? #StopSpectrum10K

@danidonovan DEPRESSION PASTA: 1. put any noodles in microwave bowl,, cover w/water 2. microwave for 2 minutes 3. stir, microwave for 2 more minutes 4. drain water, top with whatever (jar of sauce, butter, cheese, whatever) and EAT has saved my life so many times.

I've fallen into the awful cycle of ordering delivery because I can't work up the energy to buy groceries... let alone cook. What are your go-to instant meals that don't require any cooking or cleanup? (Bonus points for non-perishable or frozen foods that won't go bad.)

The Spectrum 10K study alarms me. I can’t think of a compelling reason as to why DNA samples are needed and worse yet, they haven’t given one. I don’t consider “support” a good reason, as: a) what *is* this support?; and b) why do you need DNA to understand and give said support?

With the launch of That Project today, someone tell me this: I see people tweeting saying "the data will be used in this way and not for a cure or cause" except, that isn't how data works in science, at all, and a lot of people knows this 1/

so they're absolutely not the perfect clothing but I wouldn't call them embarrassing. I love the number of pockets they have. I just can't wear them myself

@mykola I can't wear shorts, they don't stop my legs from touching. Can't be having any skin touching any other skin 🤢

How do you feel about cargo shorts? (ND = Neurodivergent, i.e. Autistic or ADHD or etc; NT = neurotypical, not any of those things.)
