Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

@MindOfNaijaLife @hell_line0 When I was dating I always showed up ready to pay my share because I cared more about getting to know the person than getting something for free. I also didn’t want the date to feel I owed them something.

I just saw a woman explain why she doesnt do 50/50 on dates and her reasoning gagged me. She said : if i go alone id be paying for my meal, and if go on a date and pay 50/50 id still be paying for my meal so why would i want to get dressed up, spend energy on emotional labor, holding conversations, entertaining my date, if im just gonna pay for my own food anyway? Id rather wear my yoga set and scroll uninterrupted. And couldnt have said that any better!!!

@ThrillaRilla369 My husband would be stoked. He grew up poor and isn’t picky and would just be thankful for a meal. If I made something close to this, it would be from scratch and have at least some vegetable like mushrooms in it.

@iWomansplainer They’re cold so they assume your baby is cold. Now I have teens that will forget or argue about coats in the winter but wear hoodies and track pants when it’s in the 90s. I can’t make it make sense.

What is with older generations and being needlessly concerned about my baby being cold. It’s 50 and sunny. He’s wearing long sleeves. We’ll be outside for literally 15 seconds to get to the car. No, he doesn’t need a hat and mittens and a blanket. He’s gonna be just fine.

@MelanyBelanyBoo @iWomansplainer Ah I remember this. I’d then just stick them in a pocket and would always be finding baby socks in my pockets 😂

@iWomansplainer Also, the annoying thing about babies is that they are constantly pulling off their socks. So old people think I never bothered putting socks on my baby, but really, I put them on 5 times.. one was lost, and I gave up.

@babblingagain @kyeruphiona There are some cultures where it is accepted to wear it. At the end of the day, I think the intent matters. Are you simply wearing it as jewelry with no religious devotion, or do you see it as the sacramental it is and wear it to keep it close?

@kyeruphiona Rosary 's aren't jewelry to be 'worn' like you would a string of pearls. It is meant to be used when you pray the rosary.

@TLM_Ryan Belle is not a princess. But she shows self sacrificial love for her father, and her love for the Beast (substance over appearance, mutually bringing out the best in one another) is really quite humble and beautiful. Snow White represents more than she actually is, I think.
