That would be my ideal solution. I'd very much like to see an expansion of nuclear power.
I share the noise and environmental concerns of many regarding sound that some AI data centers are using, and I'm perfectly fine with cities ensuring that companies building data centers require that grid strain to the extent it exists to be offset by the companies.
There's a legit debate about these impacts, and despite my love for AI as a technology, I think we should be asking questions about how rapidly we're expanding so that we can limit the downside to a necessary economic shift.

@KingGalvex @AlpinDale The only difference is they are using more advanced more efficient cooling tech so hyperscalers are actually better than legacy datacenters. A Vera Rubin rack in a hyperscaler vs aws use-1 is no different. Like where do you think all of the current AI compute comes from?

If you're an artist and refuse to work with someone who's showing an AI reference, I don't want to see you complain about lack of work. If this person got scammed / doesn't know their refs are AI you should inform them and HELP them get rid of the AI by providing real paid art.
