If Robertson would sign in Buf (honestly haven’t heard either yes or no), then offer-sheet him to make it happen. Losing all those picks is better than losing a couple guys who we’d hope we could replace with those picks. Making the 4th and 20th OA gave us that luxury. Would we have traded 4, 20, and more Robo? Ya. Even if not Robo, offer sheeting is more appealing after this draft.

@kevin_siracuse Endorsements come with work of course but I wonder if he could have really dug in and made more over the long haul as the face of Buffalo for years and even decades. I guess it’s as simple as he really didn’t want to. He got his bag, good for him. And now I move on too.

I understand the #Sabres not wanting to match the Capitals’ offer for Alex Tuch, and I understand Tuch wanting to cash in as much as he possibly could while he had the chance. But I really didn’t think that he was that type of player. I thought he was happy in Buffalo as he grew up 2 hours down the road and was playing for his childhood team, he has roots in WNY, him and his wife are expecting their third child in September, and they’ve done a ton of work in the community in their 5 years here. I’ll never forget how his face lit up as he got to escort Rick Jeanneret onto the ice during RJ Night, or how his face lit up as he scored the empty netter to spoil Jack Eichel’s first game back in Buffalo. He really seemed like one of us. So I figured that Tuch was the poster child for giving his team a hometown discount, but I guess I was wrong. The Sabres reportedly were offering an AAV of $9.5M, but he chose $10.5M with WAS. (Don’t know how many years BUF was offering.) If it were me, I would’ve taken $1M/year less to stay where I was happy and to keep building onto something special because in my mind, what is that extra million dollars every year going to change when your career earnings will still be over $100M when it’s all said and done? But like I said, I understand both sides here and am glad that Buffalo didn’t overpay to keep him. It’s just weird waking up and seeing Alex Tuch in a Capitals uniform. #LetsGoBuffalo

@horsepower I have an LG oled tv 42” for my PC display. Works well for games or design work.

I’m wondering how bad of an idea it would be to run one of these LG C5 OLED TVs as my PC monitor. They’re 4K and 144hz. I currently have the LG UltraGear pictured, however I want a bigger screen, 4K, and a better OLED panel. I don’t utilize the 480hz and I play games casually.
