Been in America for 14 year, i just had my first antisemitism moment. I was watching the kids playing, and a random guy was making a chat. I was chatting back, nothing special till that point. We all do it all the time. He then went on to say he is so upset the Jews having too much real estate, and “they will get what they deserve by Hamas”. I didn’t see it coming, and for some reason he missed my Israeli accent…. As he finished his hate speech, i responded with two words - “I’m Jewish”. He was getting immediately aggressive, and my wife who was there said “dude, we are w our kids, move on”. She is cool like that. He did. Later that night, I was thinking, yes he was hating on me - not knowing me, but I’m the lucky one. I feel thankful. I have light around me, family, friends, purpose. And this guy - hate and anger lead him. If you ever watched StarWars, you know hate makes powerful Jedi to become Sith. I’m Jewish. Two words. Light always wins. I’m the lucky guy 💙

Tears … I posted this picture because of what it means. Family. The @nyknicks didn’t become champions because they were the tallest team. Not because they were the most athletic. Not because they had the most star power. They won because of culture. They play for each other. They feel accessible. They feel like home to us. They feel like family. You know exactly what i mean .. They are the New York Knicks. Such a powerful reminder to every kid, every dreamer, and every person out there - who has ever been told they weren’t enough…. nobody gets to limit our dreams. Nobody. Doesn’t matter how short you may be. Where you came from. Or if nobody sees you just yet. You can win. There is a Knick in all of us ❤️ 53 years.
