I have a question for we Christians. Sincerely asking. 24 hours make a day, and 72 make up three days; Since this is common knowledge, how come Good Friday to Easter Sunday is just two days and a few hours, since Jesus resurrected after the third day? And it's a fact that Jesus himself said that he will be in the tomb for three DAYS and three NIGHTS, (Matthew 12 vs 40). And the book of Leviticus 23: vs 32 proofs that 24 hours is considered a full day, since according to ancient times, Hebrews counted a full day as sunset to sunset, 24 long hrs. Now here is the confusion, did he rise on the third day, or after three days? Was he really crucified on Friday, or was it on Thursday? Did the church make a mistake in their calculation, or is it accurate? Note: This is for the purpose of learning.

@Michaelshengs @DanielRegha You can misinterpret implicit verses not explicit ones. Mark 12:40 is literally as clear as day “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Dear @Is_Sophia2 I am a student of Islamic studies, and I understand your curiosity. I did not study only Islamic studies, but Islamic studies education. It is one thing for people to look down on you for studying either of the two; it is another thing entirely to study both. I chose this path deliberately. In fact, I began at a disadvantage. I come from a mixed home (my father is a Christian) and, as you can imagine, the idea was met with strong resistance. I never had the opportunity to attend a madrasah like many of my colleagues. So, why would I wake up one day and make such a decision, when I could have studied medicine like four of my siblings, or become an engineer like three others? I was in JSS3 when I realised that, as a people, we leave the Deen, the most important aspect of our lives in the hands of those who are neither passionate nor intentional about them. Many find themselves in such fields by circumstance. I decided to take up the challenge and pursue the path of Islamic scholarship. Of course, many thought I was crazy. I won't blame them 🙂 I remained steadfast. I maintained my focus despite my background. I completed my undergraduate studies, received a full scholarship for my M.A., and then for PhD, which I completed just last month. Throughout this journey, I have never regretted the decision I made at the age of 12. Many who once mocked me now admire my path. Financially, I am doing better than most of them. Over the years, I have mentored people from various counties, taught languages, written extensively, and engaged in editorial work. I have published academic research in three different languages and have had the opportunity to meet political figures and diplomats. I've been interviewed by journalists on various issues. My M.A. research focused on the life and works of Abdullah b. Fodio, arguably the most prolific writer in pre-colonial Nigerian history. That work led to further studies by myself and others. My PhD is the first comprehensive study of Boko Haram’s approach to the Qur’an. I am currently preparing it for translation into English so that it may contribute to global academic discourse and serve as a resource for those seeking to understand how a group as destructive as Boko Haram attempts to justify its actions through the Qur’an. So, dear sister, perhaps now you can understand why some of us devote not just four years, but fifteen years, to the study of Islamic studies.

If Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was inventing the Qur’an, why would it openly correct and rebuke him (like in Surah Abasa)? Would anyone criticize themselves in a book they supposedly wrote to gain power? Makes no sense.

Kindly ignore the false rumors circulating that His Eminence the Sultan has declared the Shawwal crescent was not seen in Nigeria. I just spoke with members of our committee at the palace, and they are still gathering reports.

@TrendingEx @VendrNg This experiment is flawed for a number of reasons. First, the output power of the generators should be measured and NOT the time they remain idling. Second, more samples are required. Third, similar results need to be obtained with each generator using both fuels.

NNPC is trending because they want to sue th tiktoker for doing a video showing how their fuel burnt faster than Dangote’s fuel. But the interesting thing is in paragraph 3. Also, they’re are still importing fuel, perhaps Malta, allegedly. Few days, ago a content creator bought 1ltr of Dangote Refinery’s fuel from MRS, and 1ltr of NNPC’s fuel. Put the two in different brand new generators. Alas, NNPC lasted 17mins, while Dangote’s lasted 30mins. Nigerians argued that the experiment was flawed, citing generator engine difference. Today, NNPC released a six paragraphed statement debunking the claims. Stating it is an attack from saboteurs, they will pursue legal steps and the experiment is amateur. In paragraph 3. They argued that the “NNPC” fuel the guy used in the experiment was gotten from an independent NNPC retailer who perhaps sourced their products from Dangote.. — Dangote, who “adheres” to strict industry standards. Basically implying that Dangote’s fuel is more quality than theirs. As their’s is focused on affordability, in context. Recall, during the peak of NNPC & Dangote beef, NNPC categorically said Nigerian do not need premium fuel. Despite claims that Warri Refinery, Port Harcourt refineries are now working, according to NairaMetric, NNPC imported over 200M litres of petrol just between February 1, 2025, and February 12, 2025. Anyways, before this video.. a lot of people have given positive reviews of Dangote’s fuel, and it’s contrast with NNPC’s. All insisting that Dangote’s lasts longer than NNPC. Dangote went into partnership with MRS to sell his fuel. MRS is owned by his step brother Sayyu I. Dantata. Ad• Use @VendrNg to effectively manage your estate!
