PB and a medal! 🥉 Addy Wiley 🇺🇸 runs an indoor personal best of 1:58.36 for bronze in the World Indoors last year 800m final, hanging onto Keely Hodgkinson’s hot early pace to earn the first global medal of her career. Heading into 2026, Wiley had never broken 2:00 indoors and she’s now run 1:58 in both the semifinals and finals in Toruń.

At the Mędzynarodowy Memoriał Wiesława Maniaka (maybe the longest meet name I've seen) in Poland – Addy Wiley ran 1:56.83 for an 800m personal best and moved to No. 5 on the U.S. all-time list. Only Athing Mu (1:54.97), Ajee' Wilson (1:55.61), Jearl Miles-Clark (1:56.40) and Raevyn Rogers (1:56.81) have run faster in American history. Ties her for the fifth-fastest in the World this year. She only reached the semifinals of the 800m at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
