@Tobs_fc The highest league goals in a season Messi scored was 50. He scored 73 in all competitions though and he was on the verge of recreating that "satanic" record till he had a bad injury.

Harry Kane breaking Messi 71 league goals record has suddenly cooled down. There is a reason why Messi himself didn’t repeat that satanic numbers again. 😭

The next couple of days will define the future of this nation. This deeper understanding is why I resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as I follow the leadership of, HE Peter Obi, who today embodies the hope and aspiration of a Nigeria that works.     When I give my word, I keep it. My decision to support HE Peter Obi first led me to the ADC. To continue to honour the promise I am joining the NDC.   This time I am joining the NDC not just as a member but as one running for the FCT Senatorial seat.   I have tidied up all my obligations to the ADC, ensuring a clean transition. I was fortunate to work with great and amazing people whose goal was a better country. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as sub‑committee chair, deputy committee chair, and secretary at various levels.   The experience has been invaluable, and I thank everyone for their support and cooperation.     #NewBeginnings #NDC #PeterObi2027 #FCTSenate #BetterAbuja #NewNigeria #ServiceFirst   Yours In Service Aisha Yesufu

In court today, there was no SAN in court and so the Inner Bar was empty. The court was really congested so I went and sat there. Immediately I sat down, My Lord asked me if she had promoted me to the Inner Bar. Before I could placate My Noble Lord, she told me to sit while

@icekied I think you should link up with other dealers more. That's what we do in real estate. For people like us that start our business from scratch, linking up with others selling the same thing is the best option.

The claim that Fela is the greatest musician from Africa is grossly false. Fela is the greatest musician to have ever walked the earth. 1. Pro multi-instrumentalist 2. Could organise an orchestra on his own and dictate what tune each instrument should play 3. Awesome composer 4. More than an average singer (without auto tune) 5. world-class performer 6. Cultural and social impact 7. Originality. Crafted an entire Music Genre of his own by piecing different sound textures together. That is absolute genius. In your life don't ever speak wherever musicologists are or they will beat you severely. If you listen to Fela Kuti in whatever age and time and you don't enjoy his craft you are tone-deaf...

Ghost Writer ✍️@Prezain_LJ

Fela Kuti wasn’t that a great musician. Pioneer yes, activist, yes, great performer, yes, but pure music, nah! His music is mostly noisy, can feel repetitive or heavily instrumental, with some songs stretching beyond seven minutes and large portions being instrumental breaks. He often spoke or chanted in most of his songs rather than focusing on actual singing. I still hold him in high esteem because he was bold enough to criticize the government, then had most of his music themes on societal ills which makes him a revolutionary figure. However, when it comes to pure singing and structure, you can’t compare him to artistes like King Sunny Ade or Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe who are far better musicians than him.

I mistakenly sent 2,300 naira for a product instead of 23,000 naira this afternoon to a vendor at his shop. What’s funny is that I left the shop without the seller noticing, and I didn’t realize it myself until tonight. I had been busy editing since I got home and hadn't needed to make any transfers until I went to buy data. I noticed I had extra cash, even though I thought I’d spent 23,000 Naira earlier. Knowing that money doesn't just appear in my account out of nowhere only when I’m being paid for a job, I checked my transactions and saw the 2,300 Naira. I realized then that I hadn't fully paid for the product. I rushed back to the shop immediately not long ago to see if the person was still there. I found him and explained what happened. He had already noticed the error, and I could see the joy on his face seeing me return.. he was so happy he even offered to buy me a drink. Imagine if I were the type to just see it as “Luck”… the seller would have lost that money. I’m so happy I returned to complete my payment.

JAJA OF OPOBO. He was born as a slave in Igboland, and rose to become one of the wealthiest merchant princes in the Niger Delta. He founded his own city-state, Opobo, and completely dominated the palm oil trade. He was so powerful that he even shipped palm oil directly to Liverpool, cutting out the British middlemen. The British couldn't beat him in business, so they invited him for "peace talks" on a ship, promised him safe passage, and then kidnapped him to the West Indies.

@SmartCryptoNew @frmarcellinus 2. Go to a place, colonize them with superior military might and crown yourself as their leader e.g Alimi against Afonja in ilorin 3. Go to a place, assimilate and endear yourself to an already established people and land and become their leader eg oranmiyan from ife to Benin .

@SmartCryptoNew @frmarcellinus Well I'm not ijaw and have no reason to align with them. There were 2 ways to establish a kingdom. 1. Go to a place with your people no one is living or have no established occupants, settle there and become the leader of the people. e.g oranmiyan from ife/Benin to oyo

Walaikum Salam. If you buy that car for 2 million, it becomes your property and you take the full risk of ownership. At that point, selling it for 3 million is legitimate trade because you are selling what you own. However, if you are just a middleman who has not bought the car yet, you are in dangerous territory. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade selling what you do not possess. You need permission from the owner first. Ibn Abbas mentioned that there is no harm if the owner says: "Sell this for 2 million, and whatever is more is yours." Without that agreement or ownership, taking a million in secret is "Ghabn," which is a form of deception in pricing. Islamic business is built on transparency, not on manipulating prices while you have no skin in the game. You should be either a clear owner who takes a risk or a known agent who takes a commission. If you are hiding the true price from both sides to pocket a 50% markup, you are building your profit on a foundation of secrecy. Your gain should come from the service you provide or the risk you carry, not through deceit. Allah knows best.

"The condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria, informed my decision to leave ADC for NDC." Yesterday, I formally joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside my dear brother, Engr. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with one clear purpose: to continue the struggle for a new Nigeria built on justice, competence, accountability, and compassion for the ordinary Nigerian. As I stated yesterday, this decision was not made out of anger, personal ambition, or convenience. It came after deep reflection on the present condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the dangerous path it is currently heading. Over the years, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that politics should never be about individuals, positions, or personal gain. It must be about the people, especially the millions of Nigerians who today can no longer afford necessities, whose businesses are collapsing, whose children are losing hope, and whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain. I left the ADC for the same reason I left the Labour Party: the severe, orchestrated litigation and internal crises deliberately designed to ensure that I, alongside many other notable individuals, do not effectively participate in the electoral process. I sincerely appreciate and remain deeply grateful to the Leadership of ADC for the opportunity to work together in pursuit of a better Nigeria. I am particularly grateful to ADC Chairman Senator David Mark for his exceptional Leadership. I also deeply appreciate my Leader and elder brother YE, Atiku Abubakar, as well as other respected leaders within the party. As we join the NDC, I sincerely appeal to the Nigerian Government against the encouragement of unresolved litigations and the infusion of crises within political parties. Democracy must never become a weapon against the people. A healthy democracy thrives on strong institutions, credible alternatives, and the freedom of citizens to make choices without intimidation, manipulation, or fear. Opposition parties must not be weakened or destroyed, because when democracy loses balance, the people ultimately suffer. Nigeria today is passing through one of the most difficult periods in its history. Poverty is rising. Hunger is widespread. Insecurity continues to threaten lives and livelihoods. Businesses are shutting down daily. Our young people are becoming discouraged, and many citizens have lost faith in the system. At a time like this, leadership must be driven not by propaganda or division, but by competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Our decision to join the NDC is therefore not an abandonment of values, but a continuation of the same mission we have always stood for: building a Nigeria where leadership is about service, where public resources are managed responsibly, where institutions function independently, and where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, region, or social status, can live with dignity, security, and hope. I remain committed to working with all Nigerians of goodwill across political, ethnic, and religious lines. The task before us is bigger than any individual or political party. It is about the future of our children and the survival of our dear nation. I thank Nigerians, especially our youths and women, for remaining peaceful, resilient, and hopeful despite the enormous challenges confronting the country. I urge you not to lose faith in Nigeria. Nations do not change because people surrender to hopelessness; they change because people continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and continue to stand for what is right. A new Nigeria is still POssible. -PO

You think it’s by reading book only? Lol 😂 I like it when motivational speakers speak with confidence. All we hear is the Process: be diligent, form a community of dream executors, always show up, and so on. But have you noticed that they often sell the process, yet rarely acknowledge the variables? Otedola didn’t either in his book. This is because there is no guarantee those processes will make you an outlier. It probably won’t, because the variables on which the processes depend are rarely discussed. They can’t actually because there are no patterns to that. lol 😂 Just as Robert Herjavec, the billionaire of Shark Tank said, "I can tell you the person who will succeed if ten people walk into this room." He was asked how, and he said that anyone who follows the process — e.g, being confident, always prepared for opportunities, etc — will succeed. He then said, But to be super successful? To be a Billionaire? To become an outlier? You just have to get lucky or find some grace on your way up. The most important factor is Grace. Many people who would ordinarily have been successful by the scale of their efforts/process have gone into the ruins of history because they lack Grace. The process matters, and I preach that too; however, always pray for God’s grace because grace perfects the variables to make your process shine. Remember: at the end of the day, only winners become motivational speakers.
