The OpenAI Just Be Normal strategy is working beautifully. Bonus points for making the ladies look very smart and sophisticated, and clearly putting them in control of the conversation / interrupting / even being kinda rude with Chat.

Rohan (Codex PM) showed me exactly how he does it: "I took a screenshot of the Codex composer where you can type in a new message. Then I asked Codex to use Image Gen to prototype 4-5 ideas to improve project selection. I can then ask it to take the first image and make a prototype of it on a Codex site. When I joined @AppliedInt, back in early 2019, it was just a handful of engineers working above a bar in Sunnyvale. The website didn’t really tell you what we were. We just wanted to build amazing products for the real world, from fighter jets to hundred ton trucks to autonomous vehicles. But we’ve always been really paranoid about losing the special culture we built in the early days to the monotony of corporate scale. Somehow, even as we’ve grown into a thousand+ person company, a lot has stayed the same since (like being in the Manhattan of the Bay, Sunnyvale). And of course, we’re still building amazing products. Continuing from my prior video, we captured the culture that pulled me in all those years ago and how we’ve protected it as we’ve grown in this @firstround Review. These are all questions I’ve been asked about in the last few years from founders of all company sizes so might as well put it in one place. P.S. At the minimum, there’s some awesome photos inside so take a look :)

Turns out GPT-Image-2 is quite good at short animations. So I made a ComfyUI workflow that generates animated Slack or Discord emojis with one API call. Workflow down there.

@ReflctWillie You can use our Thinking models to do this natively in Chat - just ask it for a image grid and turn it into a GIF!

I just asked ChatGPT to make a 4-door electric Ferrari- it’s pretty good at this. I bet this version would be more popular than Jony Ive’s!

Paperwork is better when you can just talk through it. With Images in ChatGPT and voice mode, you can upload a form, say what to fill in, and get back a completed version.
