This is fascinating Anyone with a prompt can crank out something that a couple of years ago would signal high quality Wonder what the new hallmarks of quality will be
Google AI@GoogleAI

Today, we’re evolving @StitchbyGoogle from @GoogleLabs into an AI design canvas transforms natural language prompts into production-ready front-end code. Some highlights from what’s new: 1. A complete redesign of the Stitch UI, which can now ingest multimodal references (text prompts, images, or code) as creative seeds for your design ideas 2. A brand new, context-aware design agent that can share feedback on builds, generate PRDs, and ask questions to better understand your vision. You can even talk to the agent if you prefer a verbal sounding board 3. A new agent-friendly markdown file, DESIGN.md, which you can use to export or import your design rules to or from other design and coding tools Whether you’ve been designing for decades or you’re whiteboarding your first software idea, Stitch can help you turn concepts into prototypes in minutes rather than days ➡️ stitch.withgoogle.com

Beautiful but empty is easy now. Lines of code too. Substance and depth still fleeting.

Circling back to simplicity: The main thing: human led, hands on, high judgement Smaller tasks: parallel, delegated, agent friendly

us: we are struggling to figure out the best way to use coding agents, we don't have clarity yet everyone else: our team is moving at speeds unheard of, all our PRs are ai generated, we've cleared 6 years of backlog man we must really suck huh

The constant flip flop between "Nice, AI can write all my code!" and "Wait, this is so sloppy, I need to write it myself" is getting tiring

I might be the only person who cares about this but I can't believe Apple no longer sells a 32" monitor. Their new high-end monitors are all 27" and you can no longer buy a 32" monitor from them. I can never go back to 27" so I guess I'll be buying non-Apple monitors from now on.

Agents should be part of every step of your product development process. Here's how @Linear does it: 1. Understand the problem Agents read every customer conversation, auto-create issues, de-dupe them against the backlog, and assign them to the right team. 2. Identify solution Agents pull insights from real customer data to help you draft and iterate on specs. 3. Make a plan Specs get broken into issues and routed to the right teams automatically. Agents now create the majority of Linear's tickets. 4. Execute Bugs and small features go straight to coding agents. For complex work, engineers launch Claude Code with full issue context via Linear MCP. 📌 Read my post for more on how to set this up: creatoreconomy.so/p/your-new-job…
