I confronted the co-authors in this video who helped create the bill (because Mia Bonta didn’t show up to her job) and NOT ONE of them would answer a single question. In fact they straight up lied about it. Some said they didn’t know about the bill when they are literal co-authors of the bill. California is trying to intimidate and punish anyone who looks into their fraud. This bill is being supported by an NGO named CHIRLA that supports illegal migrants and is tied to the violent riots that took place in LA. This NGO has received ~$115 million from California state agencies from 2019-2025 and now they want their information to be confidential. As Saylor put it, this is a lifeline for some people especially if you are retired. To me if you truely know and understand Bitcoin then it’s a no brainer for that demographic. However, if you do not understand Bitcoin or have followed MSTR / @saylors journey from day 1 (5 plus years ago) then it can be VERY scary. For me I’ve put in hundreds / thousands of hours in past 5 yrs so I wouldn’t be scared. Think of it, if you have 1M in retirement and in STRC, can you live on 11.5% tax deferred? It’s a game changer for many in retirement. My concern is this 11.5% won’t last or be that high when I am ready to retire.

@AdamBLiv I'm 70 and it's been a blessing to have this vehicle available to increase retirement cash flow and delay principle draws. It's a bit scary but worth the "gamble" compared to tbill. Cd or private equity options. Especially the tax deferred aspect. Reduced my Medicare premiums.

I don't own any STRC. I don't want income, I want growth. I buy BTC over STRC. But STRC provides an 11.5% yield made economically feasible by Bitcoin, and this is a way for 80 year old retirees to live a better life than lending money to governments going insolvent run by bureaucrats covering up for pedophiles, and being compensated 4% for doing so. Denying that there are massive pools of capital that serve this purpose is asinine. It is to the tune of hundreds of trillions of dollars. Is it RISK-FREE? No. Nothing in life is. Do people actually think CASH is risk-free? You're orange-pilled, you KNOW lots of people do. STRC is great for Bitcoin. You aren't going to convince 82 year old Aunt Gladys to weather 45% drawdowns and move magic internet money to a cold storage wallet after reading her Human Action before bed. Literally nobody is advocating that STRC is a REPLACEMENT for Bitcoin. STRC is simply product market fit for an investor class that is orders of magnitude larger than the outstanding value of the Bitcoin network.

Strategy is proposing to pay semi-monthly dividends on $STRC, instead of monthly. No change to the annual dividend obligations or dividend rate. These proposed changes are intended to stabilize price, dampen cyclicality, drive liquidity, and grow demand.

The knives are coming out for me. I have now been accused of being PAID BY STRATEGY to make my fun little videos and posts 😱😱😱 It is very clear the bears know they are going to lose, because the STRC machine will suck millions of Bitcoin out of circulation. 100% and spot on! We are talking about a publicly traded company with full SEC filings and disclosure. What past “crypto” failure were they even 1/2 the transparency as @saylor - not even close. If anything 100% opposite, they were all opaque which is why they were all frauds like FTX.

I respect Coffeezilla for exposing real crypto scams. But his take on Strategyᴮ / STRC feels off. It sounds like he expects Michael Saylor to start every post, video, and interview with a massive disclaimer. 🙄 He says he’s fine with financial engineering - as long as it’s disclosed. Fair. But Strategyᴮ isn’t hiding anything. The risks are clearly laid out in official disclosures and SEC filings. There’s a difference between a scam… and a high-risk product people simply choose not to read about.

Trend is our friend. Anyone can do an AI to chart on STRC since inception and analyze by month all the data and it’s super bullish. Days recovery post div date, monthly volume, BTC price average, BTC acquisition by MSTR using STRC. STRC is turning into a “Monster” as Saylor would say.

I cannot tell you how bullish the move in STRC is today. Every month STRC attracts more div arbitrage money that is happy to dump at 99.25 the next day, because they just locked in 21bps of free money, that provides a great entry point to new long term money. As such, dividend arb guys will go bigger and bigger. I was pretty convinced that with the inflows yesterday and Monday we would reprice the entire div, but the market is just bid over. Every month that this persists the prior day to ex div will see increased volumes.

Great news for Metaplanet shareholders: 1) $MPJPY is now tradeable on Robinhood. This opens up Metaplanet to over 27 million funded retail accounts, which will greatly improve trading liquidity over time. 2) Metaplanet's depository bank is temporarily waiving the creation fee for $MPJPY until June 12. During this time, the standard ADR issuance fee of up to $0.05 per share, normally charged by the Depositary Bank (Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas), is completely waived. This allows current U.S. investors to upgrade their old foreign shares (ticker $MTPLF) and new investors to buy in without paying this specific extra fee. Why is MPJPY better for U.S. investors? The older $MTPLF shares settle through a Japanese clearing infrastructure known as JASDEC, which can cause trading limitations and liquidity issues at certain U.S. brokers. The new $MPJPY ADRs settle through the standard U.S. system (DTC), which means they can be easily traded on major platforms like Fidelity, Charles Schwab, and Interactive Brokers. How to upgrade your shares? (step by step) Step 1: Contact your broker. Reach out to the brokerage where you currently hold your MTPLF shares (such as Fidelity, Charles Schwab, or Interactive Brokers) and officially request a conversion of your MTPLF holding into MPJPY. You can give your broker the following specific transfer details to facilitate this: - Custodian Name: MUFG Bank Ltd - BIC: BOTKJPJTSAD - Security Account Number: 0100830100 Step 3: Broker submits the instruction. Your broker will then submit an official "ADR Issuance" instruction to Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas (DBTCA), which acts as the Depositary Bank. Step 4: ADRs are issued.
