@GoonerOak @prettyboygooner That’s not how it works. 9 in 1875 is 0.43 per 90. He missed 12 PL games due to his hamstring injury. If he were to play every minute of those games, he’d need to score 11 in 12 at a rate of 0.91 per 90 to even get to 20 PL goals, which was never going to happen

@mxdric Not always. Because let's say we have 0-0 and 0-0 go into extra time. Both teams score 1 and it's 1-1. The away team qualifies on away goals even though they got 30 more minutes to score a goal. The away rule should have been voided once you went to extra-time.

That level of football only happens with forward thinking. Look at how Jamal Musiala and Vitinha were constantly trying to play runners through on goal.
Martin Odegaard would’ve passed it back to the defender, or done a useless abdi shuffle while runners are in behind.
