The difference in unionism between then and now. Sammy Morrison of the TUV shamed them all into singing the National Anthem at our National Remembrance event. The quislings, Nesbitt in particular, went grovelling to Sinn Fein/IRA saying “sorry”. Thankfully roll-over unionism is finished. Well done to all those who have forced unionism collectively to go on the offensive.

@mickkinahan @malmcmullan Absolutely agree it’s an elite sport at inter county level - it always was. However the very small minority ( inter county ) are absorbing most of the county funding ! That doesn’t make sense - but nobody wants to discuss.

I read a lot about ticket prices increasing due to losses elsewhere GAA's biggest concern is the amount of empty seats and terracing most of the time A deep dig into why people are not going to games is very important A strategy of lower pricing and getting more in the gate?

@malmcmullan Saturday week I am lucky enough to be able to go to two semi finals, if I so wish. The rugby one for me and kid is €50 in total, the GAA is half that price. I'm as financially squezzed as the next fella (hence the cheap tickets), but GAA is 50% less in this instance!!

@TomasJHeneghan Need to enforce the law first ! 70 is not old these days - all actuaries will tell you that average age nowadays is mid 80s - 20 years ago it was circa 10 years less !

39 people have died on our roads so far in 2026. Maybe it’s time to tighten up on who’s allowed drive a car? Introduce a mandatory annual theory and practical test for any licence-holder once they hit 70. Increase the legal age for a license to 23.
