All last night and into this morning we worked to pass the budget resolution to fund ICE and CBP because Democrats are intent on defunding them. @SenateGOP got it passed, so now we wait on the House.

Hakeem Jeffries personally worked to block a bipartisan ban on insider trading, voted to block the release of the congressional slush fund, and told Swalwell to drop out of the governor’s race but never asked him to resign from Congress. I won on all of the above. @SpeakerJohnson will be bringing the GOP ban on insider trading to the floor. May want to sit out telling Florida what to do. Ron DeSantis doesn’t take orders from DC Democrats.

What are the odds that the unnamed senator who called the effort to pass the SAVE America Act a “charade” professes unqualified support for the bill when talking to constituents and donors? Statistically, the odds are high. Very high. What’s the bigger charade: fighting to ensure only citizens vote in our elections, or a cosponsor secretly working to tank it? Welcome to the Swamp.

Democrats have once again shown how far they will go to break the law, “wage warfare,” and disenfranchise millions of voters in order to force their radical, unwanted agenda down the throats of every American. Tonight's result only proves how egregious Democrats' gerrymander is in a state where almost half of voters (46%) backed President Trump! That is why Democrats relied on rigging the ballot question in order to win. We fought this effort with money, manpower, and in the courts - and those fights will continue. Radical Democrats began mid-cycle redistricting in New York back in 2024, and have proven time and time again how little they regard the will of voters from coast to coast. If Democrats are successful in the 2026 midterms, we know this is only the beginning. They will throw open our borders, let crime run rampant in our streets, project weakness on the world stage, make life more expensive for every family, and flood our elections with non-citizens to try and hold on to power forever. We’re using the budget reconciliation process because Democrats are refusing to do something that must be done: Fund Border Patrol and keep immigration enforcement up and running. Their decision to block funding puts our nation at risk at a time of great threat. The first significant step, the motion to proceed to the budget resolution, has been agreed to. Now, we’re off to the races to fully fund Border Patrol and ICE for the rest of the Trump presidency! I expect to be on the floor Thursday with another vote-a-rama to get the budget resolution through the Senate and over to the House. This would clear the way for committees to craft language that secures our border and keeps immigration enforcement on track, something Democrats refuse to do. To my Republican Senate colleagues, well done. To the American people, we will not let you down. Help is on the way.
