Do you have any idea of how many memes, death threats, ridicule and slander I've received from hexicans over the years?
You've probably been as annoying towards me as it's humanly possible to be.
Don't act like you don't know this. The HEX community has turned this into a literal sport and is proud of it
For several years, the HEX community has been claiming that I ran a fund that's down -97% even though the fund returned +640% net of fees. Laughing at my investors who they thought got rekt.
Even though I've corrected them countless of times and showed the actual data, hexicans go so far as to send messages to other people I interact with to try to convince them I am bad at my job
This is just a tiny example of the kinds of things the HEX community have been doing over the last couple of years to try to annoy me
Even the big HEX accounts come up with derogatory terms for me, comparing me to Smeagol, print out images of my face and write "LOSER" on it, framing it, dancing on my "coffin" etc, making literal rap video diss tracks (that one was great, much love)
I did not ask for any of this. I was *asked* by Richard Heart himself to "fuck up HEX" -- he wanted me to criticize it in a YouTube video for marketing purposes, and I obliged and did my best job pointing out the potential issues with the system. On his request.
And that's not something that's left for the viewer to guess, he literally says "Eric knows nothing about HEX, I've asked him to come and criticize it"
For this sin, I've been getting railed on Twitter for almost 4 years now during the times the HEX price was higher than the initial ETH buy price, accusing me of missing out and accusing me of misleading my followers and causing them to miss out.
The HEX community for years have been pulling *me* in, wanting to bait me into a conversation for engagement from *my* followers
Now, almost 4 years later, the buy price of HEX is at long last substantially below the ETH buy price (-66%). Now it's finally my turn to point out that the things I said in the video (demand eventually struggling to outpace the inflationary yields) and take some well-deserved victory laps
Now, the same people who sent threats to me, made videos of my head getting chopped off or pictured it being spat or or urinated on, spread misinformation about me and my businesses, harassed other people I'm involved with, mocked, teased and spammed me, are actually crying and complaining that I'm dunking back after all these years?
I've never even commented on this once because that's just the Internet
The HEX community is one of the most vulgar communities on the Internet. And right now, apparently the most butthurt too.
You can see how that doesn't work out, right?
If you can't take it—don't dish it out!

It’s always easy to see those with misplaced priorities. When people like @ercwl continue negativity aimed at the #HEX ecosystem - despite nothing being rugged, no platform or product issues causing mass losses, no evil doing by a founder, quite literally NOTHING… accept a a product and eco system looking to remedy pain points within the crypto space, giving control to those who invest in it.
Surely if helping others was the motivation in giving your voice, then those rug pulls would be the priority to fight with. But no… the motivation is to clout chase in strong communities.
Be careful folks. So far we have seen him and others like him cheer on the SEC, celebrate the downward movement in our portfolios “Dunkin’” on folks in a down market, pick fights for clout. Where is the value here?
Ambulance chasing is not a talent. Especially when the ambulance hasn’t even left the garage and the casualties don’t exist.
