@HMRCgovuk I started my new job few months ago and I unfortunately had made an error on the starter form and ticked statement C. I had two salaries with BR tax code. I sent my P45 last week to new employer but they insist they cannot do anything until next pay. Is that correct?

@HMRCcustomers can you please advise if my ex employer can send my P45 via email? I have been told it can only be sent by post but I cannot find the guidance on it anywhere. Thank you.

@aga_kosacka Hi. Agnieszka. So long as they send you the P45, it is up to them how they do this, Some will only send by post, other will only have an electronic one, depending on how they have set up their payroll software. Steve

If you have a Ryanair app with your normal email address go to ‘My trips’ and click on the button ‘Can’t find my trip’ and use the email address provided by OnTheBeach. It worked for me.
