It happened. Anthropic banned OpenClaw from Claude subscriptions Here's the thing though: I figured out a way to use Opus 4.6 in OpenClaw without exploding your costs In this video I cover how to set up OpenClaw a way where you still get Opus power, but for significantly less:

You’re either dumb or just extremely nonchalant if you think a single-screen weather app can actually win a proper Vibe-Coding Hackathon. I’m happily sitting in the nonchalant category on this one. I used @anything to build an app so good it’s honestly the best weather app I’ve ever used. Being an Android guy, I had to sneak my sister’s iPhone just to get this done. If I somehow win this thing, I might finally buy myself an iPhone… or maybe a new Mac. No promises. Read the entire thread for the thought process and the UI + Process

@ai_for_success The Real Time mode? I thought they removed it. Didn't they call it just 'stream' earlier?

@tanmaygoel1 @claudeai I am kind of happy for @AnthropicAI going hard against (or at least not in favor of) OpenClaw - These kind of tech pose a great threat on their models given the kind of unpredictable use-cases they have.

Breaking: The all-you-can-eat Al era just ended. Anthropic quietly changed @claudeai pricing: Your subscription no longer covers third-party harnesses like OpenClaw. Translation: Unlimited agent compute → gone Flat-rate automation → gone Third-party usage → pay-as-you-go You still get: Claude Code Claude Cowork Core Claude products But external agent frameworks now require extra paid usage. Anthropic is even offering: → One-time credit (equal to your plan) → Usage bundles (discounted) → Refund option This is a big shift. Al tools are moving from flat SaaS pricing to metered intelligence infrastructure. The economics finally caught up.
