Adding parameters to all my prototypes unlocked a new world for me. I learnt this a few years ago from @asallen and his work for Paper. Usually the best values come from tinkering and replaying the animation again and again and again.

the only thing more fun than prototyping animations in after effects is spending the whole night trying to recreate them in code. streaks are now available in testflight. → @joisoftware

I guess GPT tokens were the last missing jigsaw piece that mitigated all remaining risk. Now it's perfect

Risk: about 10:1. Return: 1:10 at best. What a sweet way of spending a decade of your life.

The dream. Say you raised a $10M seed. You’ll send $8M of it right away back to pretty much the same stakeholders through the VC/LP chain as GPT tokens.

@darinwf @Dimillian Scrolling tabs are great! But the magic in Arc is Spaces. For instance I got one just for accounting: every app’s billing page A–Z, always open. Once a month I go through and upload them all. Another space has same apps with my wife logged in etc. Also, translating full pages..

@Dimillian There's a novel tabs treatment that we built that didn't make the cut to have as default. You should check it out. Would love to hear your take. Kind of like Arc's sidebar but still top tabs. It allows you to just browse without having to cleanup tabs, if that's your thing:

Sad they don’t try a new UI. I’m so tired of Chrome UI. So so tired. I worked on it more than 15 years ago and it was on the exact same buttons with the exact same icons omg.

To all you design tool die hards. Be flexible. I got started designing with Macromedia. Ever heard of it? Made a career building Flash websites and ads. Made popular websites/apps in Photoshop for a decade. Remember Sketch? Focus on the skill not perfecting the tool.

They found DMT in dead rats, suggesting our brain releases it at the last breath. So, I thought, maybe there’s a neurological basis for ethics after all: your life choices determine whether your final epic DMT trip would be heaven or hell.

When you do what you want, you get less pleasure than when you do things you didn’t know you wanted. And you also stop wanting it. And the less things you want, the emptier your life feels. Don’t do the things you want.

Learned something insane today: most architects retain full copyright to their work and only license it to the client. What kind of medieval extortion scheme is this supposed to be
