This post is from Makenzie. Please pray for Ben. He was assaulted today in NYC and is in an ambulance headed to the hospital. I’m told he is okay, but going to check things out to be sure. He was punched in the face and as he is someone with an already existing traumatic brain injury, any additional head trauma is VERY concerning. Will you please pray for him. Pray for him to not have further head trauma from this altercation. Pray for peace for Ben and his videography crew. They are pretty shook up from this. Pray they find this person and his phone. This person took his phone and police are tracking the phone now.

On this day 13 years ago, my only son was sworn in to the US Army. In ten days, it will be 12 years since he was killed in Afghanistan 2 weeks before he was due to come home. He was just 21. This week is also Memorial Day. My greatest fear now is that he will be forgotten.
