instead of watching 2 hours of Netflix tonight, watch this 40-minute masterclass from the founder of a $20B China AI company it's the clearest explanation I've seen of how Agent Swarms and AI systems actually work at scale useful whether you've never built an agent in your life or have been using Claude every day for the past year I took the key ideas and turned them into a practical guide on how to actually build with Kimi find it below

@gqueiroz1313 @JustJake @theo Lol they are multi-cloud, and they run their own infra as well (Metal), which wasn’t affected. They’re moving workloads over to AWS and Metal, as mentioned above. Unless you are an enterprise customer, idk why you feel entitled to redundancy across clouds with zero downtime

Sendgrid was founded in 2009 and there are more email services now: - resend → good dx, free 3k emails/mo, or $0.0004/email - zeptomail → from Zoho team, $0.00025/email (cheapest I've found) - plunk → open source, free 1k emails/month, or $0.001/email - cloudflare email → $0.00035/email, transactional emails only - mailgun → free 100 emails/day, or $0.00075/email. it's among the oldest email provider, beside sendgrid and amazon ses. all services above (except cloudflare) have email template functionality. zepto is the cheapest but @resend is a good bet if you just want to start. plunk (what i use now) is open source and you can self-host. what did i miss?

i'm guessing most of you won't read garry's full article so here's the tldr: garry's AI instruction file hit 20,000 lines. claude told him to stop. he replaced it with a 200 line routing table called RESOLVER.md: when this type of task shows up, read this file first. that's it. result: faster, more accurate, fewer hallucinations. if the article felt too technical: the whole pattern ships in gbrain v0.10.0. just use it. i set it up this morning, works well.

Stanford CS graduating class of 2026 just got their final placement statistics Out of 312 graduates: 18 have full-time offers That's a 5.8% placement rate from the most prestigious CS program in the fucking world 2019 placement rate was 94%. 2022 was 78%. 2024 was 31%. Now this. The other 294 are fighting over 47 internships that require "3+ years production experience" Career services is telling them to "consider adjacent fields" while the department just took a $50M donation from a company that replaced 2,400 engineers with Claude One kid showed me his rejection tracker: 1,247 applications since September. 12 phone screens. Zero offers. His parents refinanced their house for his tuition The career fair had 8 companies and 300 desperate students in $180k of debt Meanwhile the CS department just announced they're expanding their PhD program because "industry demand for AI research has never been higher" The same week they sent acceptance letters to 89 new undergrads These kids thought they were learning to be engineers. Turns out they were training to be obsolete.

Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR: Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help. On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead. He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows. If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.

notice something? Linear, PostHog, Attio - all shipped the same thing in the last few weeks. Homepage is a chat bar - not a dashboard. This is the SaaS industry quietly admitting that traditional UI doesn't work anymore. Every user is different. One homepage can't serve them all. The playbook is shifting: → expose your core APIs → connect an agentic layer → let users use software the way they want SaaS became chat. Chat will become Generative UI - the agent won't just reply in text, it will compose the interface itself. We're closer than people think.
