Syrek, which was obtained earlier today by The Associated Press, stated that the Trump Administration is planning to restructure the VA throughout 2025, cutting roughly 80,000 Jobs and reducing the Agency to the Staffing Levels it had prior to 2019.

@RepDougCollins i agree, but i think the big fix in the VA Healthcare should be in HR and it’s hiring process, 6 to 9 months to on board a Radiology Tech is not acceptable, also retaining staff, it’s a small step to give our veterans the excellent healthcare they deserve.

DOGE is undergoing a serious analysis of wasteful and burdensome regulations, and is looking for public feedback! Which are the really bad ones? Please DM us the CFR provision, the relevant text from the regulation, and the adverse consequences of said regulation.

The Federal government computers & software are in such bad shape that they often cannot verify that payments are not fraud, waste or abuse! That’s why the government can’t pass basic audits. They often LITERALLY don’t know where your tax dollars went. It’s insane. My preferred title in the new administration is Volunteer IT Consultant. Need to fix the IT infrastructure in order to make government work. This is a grind & hardly glorious, but we can’t make government efficient & fix the deficit if the computers don’t work.
