@thedaynameister @WeScreenplay @Coverfly Where's the accountability in the industry? Quality control? Writers are spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on these notes. The product they receive should reflect that kind of premium. And if it doesn't, there's often no recourse.

@thedaynameister And there's the gamble of quality. I've gotten great notes from @WeScreenplay and @Coverfly Industry Direct. But recently, I paid almost $100 for notes from a certain service and got back something that received a Flesch readability score of 58 (est. level of 10th/12th grade).

I get why script notes are so expensive, I really do. And it's worth it. But the struggle is real and I can't find decent notes for less than my actual car payment. I have to decide between Car notes or Script notes this month. Because I REALLY need notes on this feature.

@TPictureshow I critiqued a short, gave positive and constructive feedback, the writer reached out to me with questions, asked me to read the revised version again (outside of @Coverfly) which I did (granted it was a short, so not a huge lift) and I still only got a 4/5… 🤷‍♂️

1/2 Dude takes his pilot, writes it into a feature, posts it on @Coverflyx rates my feedback only 4/5? He doesn’t need all those flashbacks, 3 in the first 10 pages, a flat act two, we’re not following the main character, no mid point, no low point, bro, it needs work.

@analog_dave Depends on the number and whether there are subscriber records. If so, it would be a matter of seconds (I can run a # on my phone). If it’s a “burner” phone (prepaid or VOIP - there are a bunch of apps you can download to make calls) then it could take days of digging
